Implanted yesterday by Dr Eid 1/6/2026

It’s almost like a dreamlike state I’m feeling because this journey to this point has been going on for a long while and now it’s done. My experience with Dr Eid and his staff has been excellent. I got to the hospital yesterday at 5:30 am. My wife drove me and we were there until 4pm. Scarring from my RP caused the need to implant the reservoir in a different spot on the left side of my groin. This has been very painful as expected due to it being closer the the surface and interacting with my stomach muscles. Everything else has been not bad and even the reservoir pain is ok as long as I am lying in bed. Getting up has been giving me bad pain which is thankfully moving in the right direction. I just get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I’ve been switching off between Motrin and Tylenol ever 3 hours and using low dose gummys every 4 to six hours. I’m trying to avoid worsening the side effects of the stronger stuff since I’m already uncomfortable enough from all the drugs I got yesterday.

Congratulations and welcome to the bionic brotherhood hanknyman. The pain will ease eventually but it can take a while.
Keep ahead of it with whatever pain relief you need and can tolerate, and don't forget that icing helps as well early on.
Think about the weeks and months to come and how good it's going to be with an erect on demand fully functioning dick .

The first few days can be the worst. Hope you stay comfortable. Low dose gummies should be a good help along with the Tylenol and Motrin.

Thanks to all of you that posted. I very much appreciate the advice and encouragement. I’ve got the ice going here day and night. The pain relief I’m using seems to be working. The bad pain I had on my left side from the reservoir is now manageable.

Today’s adventure was trying to break through the drug and surgery induced painful constipation. The good news is that has cleared up.

Congrats! Since you used Dr. Eid I assume you have a Titan implant. I really like mine so far 11 weeks in. Sorry you’re having reservoir pain; I have some too because my reservoir didn’t want to stay in place and needed suture stays. It’s still a little sore and Dr. Hakky said it’s likely to stay a little sore for months. Hopefully your pain will resolve quickly.

Good Woods surgery was just a few months ahead of mine so I read and reread his journal quite often ahead of and through my healing process along with many other post on here.

As you heal and go through stages just type in your question and frank talk and you’ll get someone talking about whatever is on your mind.

Keep up on your pain meds, if you can’t move around like you are supposed to it may hinder your healing.
