Tenacio Recall - Small list affecting small number of patients

Postby staphylococcusecoli » Mon Dec 29, 2025 3:24 pm

Dear bionic brothers,
Can someone please share the website that lists the recalled Tenacio pumps?

How many units were recalled, and how many patients were affected?

I heard it was a small list, affecting only a small number of patients.

Is there a version 2.0 coming soon?

staphylococcusecoli, the recall affected a small number of pumps, on a very small list. Mine is on the list, but it's not affected. A version 2 is not needed for that issue. It was due to a specific assembly problem that was addressed.

It was not only a small number of patients, but since each implant has its own serial number, all of the Tenacio pumps in circulation that were recalled are gone. If you were implanted with a Tenacio pump and are worried, you probably shouldn't be as you would've already have heard from your surgeon. But, I would recommend calling your surgeon's office just to confirm.
