Changing the cylinders only - how long?

Postby body2body » Sat Dec 20, 2025 7:13 pm

Hello :-)

my implant seems a bit undersized and ONE possible possibility would be adding something to the tip or exchanging the implant itself.

Of course I am a bit hesitating due to the long time and pain I have gone through with the first surgery.

Or is this much easier because "only" the cylinders must be exchanged and pump and reservoir can stay in place? Or will it be almost the same with 6 weeks "no touch" etc.?

Thanks a lot
Surgery on 09.09.2025 in Turkey. Implant Coloplast Titan OneTouch, 22cm + 3cm RTE.
Reservoir volume 125ml, distal length 14cm, proximal length 11cm

When you cycle do you get NO pain in the tips? If you get any, I would think you are still stretching effectively. Upsizing will require a whole replacement though sometimes they use the old reservoir… but recovery should always be a little easier each time.

Yes adding a tip is entirely possible and recovery is much faster. Not sure that having 4cm rte is ideal to be honest. 3cm is the usual upper limit that most surgeons go for. But if you want to save time and money, that is a solution

So what about changing the whole implant? Is it really a good idea? I think I remember in some posts that the infection risk is increasing and that many did not really gain more size after that? Can that be?Because after 6 or more month the tissues (cock) has shrunk already?
Or better just get my glans stabilized and leave the old implant and live with the smaller size?
I am really worried/scared about the whole process again and possible complications!

You should really give it time and cycle responsibly and see what you get in six months.

You haven’t given any information about why you think it’s undersized so nobody can tell you whether that’s a reasonable take.

As you can see in the picture, my glans is "flopy glans" and the implant ends at about 2mm fter the beninning of the glans, so no stability and when I cycle, I can feel no pain in my cock or in the glans, only in the beginning it was hurting inside the body, but never in my cock, so I think there is no stretching of the cock itself and before the surgery I had about 20cm and now it is about 16cm.....so looks like "undersized" to me....

If I were in your shoes I would cycle twice a day trying to achieve as much expansion of the cylinders as possible. But if at the 6 month mark it had not improved to my satisfaction I would seek out a consultation appointment with the most experienced implant surgeon available to me.
