i was implanted in February 2022 and my new surgeon estimates I was undersized by approximately 4cm minimum. When I came around i was surprised to hear he only put an 18cm in me given I used to be around 8' pre Peyronies.
I had always thought any revision with the correct sizing would at least make me a little bigger but it looks like I'm too optimistic given what people are saying on this thread!
Do bigger implants lead to a bigger penis? (revisions)

4cm undersize is massive. Your doctor sounds terrible.
If you really had an 8 inch penis. I would bet you will be around the 24cm mark. This is 6cm more than you have now.
Im pretty sure you will recover your size or at least more than you have now
Implanted October 11, 2024, Dr Karaman. Infla10 AX 20cm +1cm RTE.

Re: Do bigger implants lead to a bigger penis? (revisions)
I was fully expecting a 24cm, or 21/22 as a minimum - The tips go no where near my Glands and they instead can be felt well into my shaft, about 15mm - 20mm from the base of the glands. It works but the top 1/4 of the shaft is not straight and I would never recommend my surgeon to anyone in the UK thinking of getting an implant. Now seeing Ralph at UCLH and if it wasn't for the fact that I'm a type one diabetic I would have had the revision 18 months ago.

Re: Do bigger implants lead to a bigger penis? (revisions)
Hello
I was following this thread because my glans is quite floppy and some users say it is due to an undersized implant from what they can see in the pictures. In fact I had a 20cm penis before and now ending with 16cm. But from what I can read HERE it seems that even with a bigger implant most people did NOT gain any more length???
Or do I understand this wrong? It does not really make sense to me so maybe someone can explain that to me?
Thanks a lot

Even assuming the implant is sized properly, some guys gain and some don't. The odds are good if the Dr is good and you cycle properly, with any of the implant models. However, I believe that some guys' implants migrate into the base rather than stretch the tunica and this leads to a disappointing result. I think this one comes down to anatomy which varies a lot.
Oct 7, 2025 - Coloplast Titan XL - Touch pump - 26cm - 0.5cm RTE with Jonathan Clavell. Still sorting out TRT; plan to try a "modified natty" approach without injections.

Re: Do bigger implants lead to a bigger penis? (revisions)
Yes, it is frequently possible to gain both length and girth with a revision procedure, but this outcome is not automatic or guaranteed. The possibility depends entirely on the specific reason for the revision and the conditions a high-volume dedicated implanter encounters during the operation.
The most straightforward scenario for increased size is when the original implant was undersized. If the initially placed cylinders were too short or narrow for your natural anatomy, a skilled high-volume dedicated implanter can replace them with longer or wider cylinders that properly fill the corporal space you already possess. This effectively restores you to your full natural potential, which is often experienced as a significant gain. A more complex scenario involves tissue scarring or contraction, where the corporal bodies themselves have tightened around the implant over time. During a revision, a specialist can perform meticulous corporal excavation to dilate and scrape away this scar tissue, reopening the space. This process can recover lost length and may allow for the placement of a larger implant than the one removed.
In practical terms, gains in girth are generally more achievable than gains in length. Increasing cylinder width can add noticeable girth if your tissue allows. Length increases, however, are typically a matter of recovering length that was lost to contraction or an undersized implant, rather than creating entirely new length. The limiting factors are your natural anatomy, including the suspensory ligaments. While some specialized techniques exist to optimize length during revision, the goal is usually to maximize your existing potential.
In real-life experience, men who revise from a malfunctioning or significantly undersized implant to a properly fitted one often report a much more satisfying and functionally larger result. However, it is crucial to understand that revising a correctly sized, functioning implant solely for the purpose of gaining size is a highly complex and riskier endeavor with uncertain benefits. The essential step is consulting with a high-volume dedicated implanter who can evaluate your individual case and provide a realistic assessment of what might be achievable for you. Good luck!
