Solutions to avoid soreness and discomfort?

Postby siltmonkey » Fri Dec 26, 2025 8:14 am

Hi all,

I’m five weeks post implant and generally progress is good. The positives are that it has gone down a lot since surgery and seems to work well when inflating. In bed, all is fine. Clothing and walking is the awkward bit. It’s still large flaccid and still a bit stiff so it’s uncomfortable pushed down, pulled up or pushed to the side in underwear. Underwear seems to make it all worse. At the moment I’m using relaxed-fit joggers and no underwear and a condom to help alleviate most rubbing. Is there a better solution or is it just a waiting game?

A baby sock seems to work. Also underwear that separates, such as SepraTec brand...although I am not endorsing them :)

A baby sock with the elastic cut off, slide it over your penis will help with the sensitivity/soreness. I wear boxer briefs, enough control to hold me in place and still comfortable cotton. At night the first few months I wore satin boxers. For bad soreness a dab of Aspercream smeared along your shaft will keep the pain down most of the day. Wash it off before sex.
