Show and Tell....Looking for Support

Greetings to the brotherhood,

I was implanted in April 2025 and I live in Maryland (DMV area). My implant is an AMS 700 CX inflatable with 24 cm cylinders and 2 cm rear tip extenders (RTEs).
I had a prostatectomy in 2022. Prior to that, I had an awesome sex life. After surgery, I used injections successfully for a while, but I ultimately chose the implant because injections became expensive and sometimes unpredictable. My challenge is that I’m still struggling to consistently inflate and deflate. I’ve been back to my urologist several times for a demo, but it still hasn’t fully clicked for me at home. Because I don’t feel confident operating it yet, I haven’t had sex using my implant.

At this point, I need a mentor, someone who’s been through this and can share practical, real-world tips. If there’s anyone from the “brotherhood” in the DMV who’s willing to do a show-and-tell to help me learn the technique in a safe, appropriate setting, please DM me. If you can’t meet, I’d also appreciate any referrals to a patient educator program or local resources that helped you.

I have a similar background and very confident pumping and deflating with an AMS/MS pump.
Unfortunately I'm on the other side of the planet and can't help in person.
