I absolutely would do a show and tell.
I agree on the surgeons pushing the IPP's more than the MPP's simply for the money part of it, every time I had a revision I went in there with the MPP on my mind asking more and more questions about it and each time I was diverted somehow into the MPP discussion and was talked into it by there staff and surgeons.
The last time I went in for another revision I was pissed and they knew it, as soon as the surgeon brought up going with another IPP, I kind of blew, sort of read him off on them and threw in the money part, mentioned a lawyer and getting another Dr. opinion and all of a sudden I was scheduled for a MPP surgery, the surgeon looked at me like I was breaking up a relationship with him.
Why would they want to install something that will put you back in the game and they would have very little chance of making money off you again ?
Of course they are going to push the IPP's over the MPP's.
This is just my opinion from what I have seen, done, experienced, paid for and went thru.
They are there to make money as big and fast as they can.

Interesting. About 50% of IPPs last 20+ years, according to large-scale, multi-institutional, peer-reviewed studies.

If you don't mind me asking, did you use a high-volume, dedicated implanter for your surgery?

Was the implant subjected to heavy abuse?

I'm intrigued by your pattern of repeated early failures. Your experience sounds like an extreme outlier, though still educational. Thanks for your story.

His experience is not an extreme outlier. Its is well known that the titan otr pump has tubing issues which lead to early failures.

The ones that lasted 20 years were a different generation of pumps, literally more than 20 years ago.

Yes, all kinds of problems will surface, if you don't seek a dedicated high-volume implanter. Modern implants have a 1% yearly failure rate.

First of all, I'm not on here everyday so if I don't get to a message it dosen't mean I'm ghosting anyone, if you want a show and tell it would be in person, I'm not doing a video call with anyone, shitty signal here and it always turns into a hassle.
My implanter is a top high volume surgeon, no problems there except being felt like I was herded through there like it was a assembly line at a factory, just another number so to speak.
I guess it was some extreme use at times,,,, but WTF ? just because I'm an old man shouldn't mean I should fuck like one, Right ?
Each time it was the tubing, except once the internal stitching let loose.
After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets so far.
For those that are asking, I'm going to change the wifeys avatar weekly.

I see on your signature you have a titan classic pump. As i mentioned the problems were with the otr pump. This has nothing to do with the surgeon, its a tubing failure. You can find plenty of stories about it in this forum.

Did you ever wonder why your surgeon gave you the classic and not the otr pump?

By the way unrelated qustion, i see you gained 1.5cm on your signature, was that length or girth? And was it compared to pre op or post op? How long did it take?

I just hit six months with my MPP. It is the genesis. I went with the MPP because I have had two kidney transplants and could need another eventually. I felt that the MPP would be better for me for a few reasons. First, I didn't want to have the reservoir attached to my abdominal wall, as I may need the room there for another kidney (they don't take out the old ones). I also want to avoid revisions due to infection risk and my compromised immune system. My surgeon was onboard with the malleable after I explained my reasoning.

The surgery was uneventful. After the procedure, I was kept overnight because of the amount of risk due to my medical history and because the surgery center is a three hour drive to my house. The next morning the urology team saw me early and told me I would be released once my ride was there. I had a nurses aide offer three times to give me a sponge bath. Im believe she just wanted to see my dick. With all the surgeries I've had, no one ever offered to wash me up, but instead would bring my washcloths soap and a dish of hot water.

Recovery went well and I had very little pain after the third day I wore pajama bottoms and sweatpants for the first 45 days or so. I did masturbatelate a few days before I got clearance, but no sex. After I had clearance, my wife and I had PIV sex for the first time in several years. In the past I would only last about 5 minutes be cumming. This broke I went 45 minutes before I was exhausted. I have yet to reach orgasm in her vagina, and when I masturbate I can organ sometimes, but my ejaculate leaks out a few minutes later. These are not complaints, because the sex feels amazing and my sex drive has been like a fifteen year old boy.

I lost about a third of my girth (never measured, but can't see the decrease. My length dropped about a quarter of an inch knocking me down from 6 3/4" to 6.5 inches. When. I was much younger I had 7 1/4"

I've noticed that when I pull my penis out of my pants, it will be curved hard to the right or sometimes it will twist until my head is upside down. It is easy to manipulate it back into shape.

So far I am happy with the MPP. it has become much more flexible over the last six months, which makes it easy to conceal. My wife also seems to be happy.
