Mi sono poi reso conto che, inavvertitamente, trasferito un po' di pressione alla valvola di svuotamento rendendo meno efficaci le pressioni con la sensazione di un bulbo ammorbidito. Prova a premere nella zona centrale del bulbo e quando senti la pompa morbida sposta la presa dove la senti più dura. Dovresti fare in modo di trovare il punto di maggior resistenza sulla pompa se la senti troppo cedevole cambia posizione delle dita finché non la senti di nuovo dura. Per vincere la esistenza uso indice e nocca del pollice per incrementare l forza. A quel punto mi bastano circa 12 pompate e mi sembra di esplodere. Se ti va prova.

Thanks I'll give that a go. I also think that I pulled down on the pump immediately prior to inflation. Perhaps I somehow opened the release valve.
I'll see what happens over the next few days. It's not really worrying me anymore but I would certainly prefer not have to do 40 + pumps every time

What do you mean it will be different specially in sex?

The vast majority of us have only had one dick our entire lives. Our range of experience as to how a dick feels is limited to that one experience. Once you get an implant, everything is mixed up. How it feels, it’s shape, what you need to do to get off. All the nerves are being rerouted through your system. Overall it’s a big shock to the system. Not just that, but you are actively recovering and changing over several months following implantation. So the feelings are going to change a lot in those first months.

Particularly for sex, that means many changes. You might find positions you loved before don’t work as well. You might find particular types of friction are painful or don’t have the effect they used to. You may experience orgasm changes that range from not being able to have them to shooting blasts of cum five feet in the air (happened to me at first, unfortunately went away!).

Once your body adjusts to the implant, all of that settles down and goes away. I can’t say that you go back to what you used to be like, I think your tastes and desires change, but they settle down and become predictable, and so it becomes like before in that you have a better understanding of how your new dick works and how to get yourself off.

I think the point should be to expect lots of changes and be OK with it. The vast majority of complaints I see on this board are from guys that are finding that the implant isn’t meeting their expectations in some way, it could be based on size or functionality or how it feels.

On the other hand, most of the guys that are really happy about it focus on the positive - they have a hard dick on demand - and are flexible enough to trust in the process. For example, I also had a hard time cumming from sex for a while. Sometimes I would literally fuck for two hours and could not cum. But rather than get down about that, I just kept at it and kept fucking. Now, 18 months in, I am much better at cumming when I want to. The thing to remember is that it is a process, things are going to change, and that you need time to get used to your new dick, and it needs to get used to you.

Hey Nick, thanks for the appreciation. Yeah, I’m a 74, too.

We’ve all been where you are, and understand the apprehension. That’s why guys stick around here and give advice way after getting implanted… we appreciate that this forum exists and we want to pay it forward. It’s also one of the few places we have to talk about our experience since it is all so hush hush out in the real world.

As for your question on whether I lost size: yes and no. The fundamental answer is that I didn’t; today I am roughly the same size (a bit over 6 inches) that I was in my teens. But immediately following surgery and for several months after I was about 4.75 inches. It took about a year before I realized I was back above 6 inches. Girth is the same, about 6 inches. I’m more than satisfied… I never thought that would be possible. I was happy with 4.75, so growing to 6 was pretty incredible, even though it doesn’t really affect my pleasure at all.

Pretty much everyone gets their size back eventually. My feeling is that if you don’t, it’s because you can’t actually get that length anymore. It’s not the implant that takes away size, at least long term. It’s just atrophy from ED. But you can reverse a lot of that by regularly using a VED prior to surgery (follow your doc’s advice on this and stop when he tells you to stop).

But it takes time. You will almost undoubtedly be shorter when you come out of surgery. But you’ll get it back.

For a guy like me that had ED his whole life, and didn’t have pills until I was in my twenties, I can say this with total certainty: my implanted dick is the best dick I had. It’s sooooo much better than anything before. That’s why I’m grateful every day for this cure, and want to help other guys find that contentment too.

Some weirdness with inflation/deflation seems common, especially in the beginning. On my third attempt at cycling, I noticed my left cylinder inflating, but the right barely coming up at all. My heart sank and I was thinking I had a tubing leak into the right cylinder.

I kept pumping, once the left was at about 80% the right started to “catch up” and both got equally hard. I had a theory that Hakky confirmed, that if the path to one cylinder is easier or shorter, the fluid will preferentially fill that cylinder until the pressure gets high enough to make the other path easier.

It still happens sometimes, when I notice it I lightly squeeze the left cylinder while pumping and the fluid immediately starts to fill out on the slow side. No issue, just another implant quirk.

Oh yah. For the first three months you will notice something new almost daily. If not today within two days something will be different. Especially during sex.

LetoMan described this pretty well, I’ll add that when you begin having sex once you are implanted you’ll need to go easy, Meaning less inflated, mild strokes, and relaxed mind till you heal up a bit more then you’ll increase pumps and fuck at the intensity and hardness that you and your partner prefer.
I made the mistake of saying to my wife the other day, “I wonder how a normal woman would handle a dick like this” She says “what I’m not normal”?, I said nope your a F’n Nymphomaniac”. Glad I smoothed that over pretty quick.

So concerning my problem, I think Frex80 may have hit the nail on the head. What I now believe was happening was that I was somehow activating the release valve and instead of inflating I was simply cycling fluid between the pump and the reservoir until at some point the valve would close and true inflation began. I think there are 2 explanations. 1. I was pulling down on the pump prior to inflation and 2. I was using a three finger technique for better grip ie. Pump resting on 2 fingers and thumb above squeezing the bulb. This may have inadvertently put pressure on the release valve which did not close until I readjusted my grip.
This morning I did my bath routine with 2 changes. No pulling down and very slowly and carefully using only my first finger and thumb. I also took it slowly and made sure all the pressure was applied only to the central part of the bulb. Lo and behold, only 8 pumps plus 2 more a few minutes later until I maxed out.
Hopefully this is the matter sorted and the weirdness resolved. Time will tell whether this was a strange biological phenomenon or simple mechanics and inexperienced user error.
I won't really know until tomorrow as I have a 1pm to 11pm shift at work this evening and won't be cycling again until the morning.
On a side note I returned to work yesterday and coped just fine. Nothing more than mild discomfort and a constant awareness of my penis in my pants
