Really frustrating and how can I know if it is undersized?

How far does your implant reach into the glans when you have pumped it up? The tip is smaller, so where can you feel it?

My tips can be felt half way into the glands when inflated.

I would like to add 2 more pics to make it clearer. The red line shows the end of the implant when fully pumped up.

I think the surgeon said that the recommendation of Coloplast and AMS always is not to go into the glans to far and just to end with the Corpora Cavernos in order to avoid ripping the tissues or the glans while having sex.

The stability of the glans should come from arousal, but for me it makes sense what you guys are saying and would also explain how I could lose 3,5cm from 19,5 down to16cm.

So in the end this would mean to do the whole surgery again? Fly to Turkey again, go to hospital, have 6 weeks without any sex and all the pain and hazzle again, right?

Or is it much easier because the reservoir and the pump can stay in place? Or does it also need another reservoir with more liquid inside?

Thanks so much for your help!

My tips are more than 2/3 into the glans when I'm pumped up really hard and glans is straight. I can feel their position just by pressing down at the top of the glans.

How much cycling have you done? Before going back to your surgeon, I'm wondering if it's worth trying some long cycling sessions pumped to 100%, and see if there is any improvement.

Yes, that´s of course the better way and I am doing it every day. So when you guys are cycling, do you feel any pain in the glans? Because my pain only comes from sideways, never from the tip of the glans, so I think it is never reaching up to the glans itself.

body2body, the sharpest of my pain was in the glans. Even today if I get a slight pain from cycling it will be in the glans. Best wishes.

body2body wrote:Hello,

after my surgery I was facing the problem about length and also about the "angle" of my glans. It is pinting downwards and sometimes it is making it a bit hard to enter the vagina. By now I know how to manage that problem by supporting it with 2 fingers on the lower side, but I am scared that it might increase with time.

My doctor says it can be glans hypermobility. But maybe someone here has/had the same issues and can give me a first-hand-tip about that?

Can it have to do with the size of my implant also? Undersized a bit? Because I lost more than an inch to my lenght before

agree with above posts. Based on your signature, they sized you the exact measurements, most high volume will upsize by a small amount to ensure you don't loose size.

if surgeon thinks its hyper mobility, it can be fixed by the surgeon without exchanging the implant, but if undersized then will be more complicated since they need to change the implant.

What would a surgeon do to fix this without changing the implant?

if the implant is correctly sized and glans is too mobile they can do a glans-pexy. Have come across in chatgpt. I think that determination can only be made by expert surgeon.

I feel firmness and pressure in the glans when erect but not pain. I can't recall having any significant pain in the glans since I started cycling. If I get any discomfort now its mainly internally at the base or along the shaft, but it doesn't start until well after an hour fully inflated.

Yes, I was talking to him and he assured me that they are not a "Make and forget"-clinic and that we should wait for about 6 months and then see what can be done. Could be adding something to the tipp or exchanging implants.
Exchanging implant means nearly the whole procedure again, right? Opeartion, hospital, 6 weeks recovery without sex? Or is it significantly easier when "only" the implant must be changed? Reservoir and pump can stay in place?

I'm not an expert, but if you have a hyper mobile glans, you should have had it at the time of the initial surgery - how come they didn't fix it then? Would have saved you the hassle of 2nd surgery. It seems like they do check all the equipment when you are asleep and everything is hooked up to make sure they are happy at the time of surgery.

It seems waiting 6 months is just kicking the can down the road. If I were you, I would maybe do a virtual 2nd opinion with someone else to make sure you are not making things worse by waiting 6 months.

Reading that makes me thankful that I had a COMPETENT surgeon. That guy definitely wasn't one.
After 6 months maybe the penis will shrink enough to have the tips enter the glans and the surgeon will say it's all good.
