I was left almost totally deflated after surgery.
On day 8 the surgeon inflated me to about 90% then stopped because it got too sore near the top where I've lost lots of girth. He then fully deflated me and I've been fully deflated since. I'm now on day 16. I'm due to see him again on day 22 to start cycling. So u will be the best part of 22 days deflated before inflating and cycling.
Has anyone else experienced this approach?
I'm eager to crack on and start cycling now because I don't want to risk losing size. I'm down in size as it is. My theory is that the earlier you start cycling the better. I read a paper online that suggests almost immediate post-op cycling led to much better length (re)gains than waiting 4 weeks to cycle. Apparently the surgical capsule can start impacting your long-term gains quite fast.

I'm 50% inflated and can't say I'm enjoying it. I imagine your surgeon will have planned your recovery based on your own anatomy, what he uncovered during surgery and the best desired results based on his surgical technique.
There are so many variables its definitely not a one size fits all senario.

Yes, my implant was not inflated after the surgery. My surgeon partially inflated me about 3-4 weeks after surgery showing me how to do it. I started cycling the implant everyday after that. I am extremely happy with the outcome, and have regained and perhaps lightly surpassed my pre ED size.
67 years old. Long term progressive ED. Pills and injections no longer the solution.

I'm deflated. Today is exactly one month since the surgery. Going back to see the doctor in two weeks to have the pump activated.
66 yrs old. 3X colorectal cancer and survivor. Twice Stage 4. Between chemo and Type 2 diabetes, it's all taken toll on my ED. Pills, VED, HRT no longer work. No injections for me. Had AMS LGX with Tenacio implanted on 11/4/25. 15cm with 2cmRTE.

Vince,
I got me implant on 12/4/25, so we are on similar timing. I was completely deflated. Doctor visit today. Cycled 2x in doctors office and once more later at home. I am not overly impressed. Small discomfort, but really no real pain. Perhaps it’s too early, but I was expecting a better erection based upon descriptions on the forum.
Did you have your cycling? What is your impression?
Thanks

I see my doctor next Wed on X-Mas Eve morning to activate the implant and inflating/deflating. I've tried to inflate a few times at home but haven't gotten very far with it. I'm going to continue to follow my doctor's orders and wait for him to activate it next week.
I do know it takes a lot of time and patience during cycling. I'm looking forward to starting that next week already. 7 weeks after surgery.
Let's keep each other posted...please feel free to PM me.
