I think I have been cycling wrong…

Postby goose1235 » Tue Dec 16, 2025 9:28 pm

I’ve been pumping my implant until the bulb is hard. I never really felt pain or discomfort. I thought this was the max. Then I tried adding some micro pumps and felt a bit of pain. Im still 1/2” down in length and girth.

About two and half months half passed and I worry that this has affected me regaining my size…is it possible that my mistake will prevent me from fully regaining size? I have barely gained any size since surgery. Very worrying.
10/8/25 Age 27. Diagnosed with venous leak. Could not maintain without constant stimulation. Maybe I went for implant prematurely, too early to tell. Concerns are tubing at base, size, and new curve I never had before. Dr Darshan Patel. AMS 700CX 21+3

You are probably not cycling wrong. A lot of guys take up to a year or more before seeing gains. One study shows there are gains up to 24 months. (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5000799)

My new mantra: chill out, and wait. The size you eventually wind up at is mostly related to the length of your implant, not to how aggressively you cycle.

Definitely cycle. But otherwise, chill out and wait.

What exactly does pumping to the “max” mean? I’ve been pumping until the pump is difficult to depress and can only do micropumps. I’d say about 90%. Does that sound about right? Should I push it a little further with the micropumps to get to 100% even if it is a bit painful?
