Is It Normal?

Postby Acolon » Mon Dec 15, 2025 9:56 am

'm 5 and half weeks post op for a Coloplast Titan. Is it normal to still feel soreness in the penis? To feel like it's not 100% healed yet?

I want to clarify, i don't feel pain, just still soreness. Sore to the touch.

Is this normal? How long before you werent sore to the touch?

Sure is. Some peeps still report pain out to a year, but most are greatly relieved by two months.

I’m am at 6 weeks post-op and have similar pain to you. Depending on how I sit, I can get some discomfort do to irritation of the pump ball on the scrotum and some ache in the testicle which I assume is due to the pump being forced against it. Also just pressing on the penis result in small pain.

Have you had your IPP cycled yet? I went to the Doctor at 4 weeks, but it was still to painful to cycle. Due to return later this week and hopefully a better outcome.

Yes I've been cycling since 4 days post op. Cycling def is part of the reason I'm still sore. Pumping cause soreness in the scrotum and the penis. I'm just wondering when is the soreness gonna fade some

Definitely normal to still be sore! Some don’t even start cycling til 6 weeks and then you’ll have a whole new type of sore….. for several more months as things stretch back out and you get used to your new dick. For me it was so nice to be able to have a lasting erection that it was worth the soreness and discomfort, knowing it was part of the process.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast with Classic pump 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong

Yes I've got the green light to begin cycling as soon as the catheter was removed. At 4 weeks I was given to green light to have sex.

I've been cycling since 4 days post op with the green light from my doctor. Had sex at 19 days post op(without the green light). I got the green light at 4 weeks.
