1 Month Post Implant - Results Meh

I'm 1 month out from penoscrotal implant surgery. Fitted with a Coloplast Titan 20cm + 1cm RTE by Rowland Rees in London. Age 35.

I have probably healed well. No signs of infection or serious complications. I'm still a bit sore at times, but I think I'm well on the way to recovery. I started cycling 9 days ago.

I'm not jumping for joy with the implant although I can see now it will function very well, as in, it will be able to penetrate a vagina. It most definitely seems like a downgrade from a normal penis.

- The deflated penis very much annoys me because it's not like a flacid at all. It points out. It's stiff and hard and feels like plastic. It has to be forced into an uncomfortable position so that it does not look like an inappropriate erection in public.

- I have lost girth and the shape of the penis has changed. At the base I might be marginally wider than what I was pre-op. Mid shaft marginally smaller, but upper half of the shaft I've lost 0.5 inches. Down from appx 4.4 to 3.9 inches in the upper end. The upper left hand side has caved in. The consequence is when I'm pumped up and fully engorged the "neck" of the penis now looks very thin compared to the swollen glans. Length is only slightly shorter than what I had before; maximum with glans engorgement about 6.1 inches BP down from 6.3. Length doesn't concern me, but girth and shape do. Erect penis is now flatter, more oval and doesn't have that nice natural dimension of a natural erection.

- The penis feels more plastic and less meaty. The skin doesn't engorge the way it used to. It used to show visible veins and it had a nice warm pulsating feeling. Now it just looks and feels more like thin skin spread over an implant.

The positives are that it's easy to get an on demand erection that stays hard, but I just don't like the trade offs.

I'm looking into getting filler to make the shape a bit better and to fill in the upper half where I've lost girth. It would be nice to get some sort of soft padding between the skin and the implant.

I'm wondering will VED help puff out the skin a bit the way it used to pre-implant?

You are just 4 weeks after surgery, it's too early to make such negative conclusions,
Just wait and relax!!!!!
The best is, your recovery is going well, you'll start cycling, so the girth and lenght will increase and after a year! you'll will be able to estimate, if you have lost any lenght or girth.
The sensitivity will come back and when you'll start having sex, you'll will see what kind of super-power you've won!

Please don't make any conclusion after 4 weeks, you are still in the recovery.

The best is, your recovery is going well, you'll start cycling, so the girth and lenght will increase and after a year! you'll will be able to estimate, if you have lost any lenght or girth.
The sensitivity will come back and when you'll start having sex, you'll will see what kind of super-power you've won!

I totally get that, I still have a bit of healing to do.

But I already started daily cycling. I haven't lost much length. It was shorter before I started cycling but after 1 or 2 cycles the implant unfolded like an accordion and now I am close enough to what I had before surgery regarding length. However girth is not increasing at all, and shape is more oval. I'll definitely give it more time though.

I think you'll enjoy it much more several months from now after more recovery. My thoughts about some of this:

Bigger flaccid is an awkward feeling with a Titan to suddenly be a shower with very large flaccid size plus the dog ears crap. To that I'd say you could always wear compression underwear if you really wanted to hide it, but those wouldn't be that conformable. Maybe wear those in some specific situations, but during the rest accept the truth that bulge is such a taboo topic because women seemed to convince everyone they don't like seeing it when actually it's been a biological attraction over hundreds of thousands of years of evolution. You'll notice more women taking a peak. Not because they're bothered, but why they're interested in bulge just like we are in constantly checking out their tits. That's not a bad time since they'll like what they see. They also have weirdly precise skills in looking built up over a very long time that we don't and usually don't look and don't see shit if we do.

Smaller girth I think it should grow more with recovery and VED and Perito's THE exercise, since he does state in that video it will increase length and girth.

About penis feeling plastic and less meaty...Best guess is well, you didn't get an LGX 700, cause compared to rock hard Titans they can much softer. I can't recall if about 1 month mine was less hard. I do think you need patience, because......

You're worried about a lit of aspects but don't like the tradeoffs? Well, what was it like in the past 1 month ago+?

Positives are an on demand erection but you dont like the trade offs? How were you before implant? Could you get a workable erection for sex that lasts until orgasm? Guessing no or why else you get one. Did some pills or complicated injections solve it?

This is the only possible cure that fixes your problems when all the other treatment options fail. Very reasonable to be apprehensive about implants, but they're all we can do.

About getting filler I've never understood why many people are interested in them. They're expensive and only last, I don't know, some small amount of years. And I heard they make your did skin floppy. But idk.

How about a tunica expansion procedure that's permanent? Or Dr. Hakky's auxetic cuts that seem to permanently increase girth by about 1/2 an inch? And they might even be free for most people. It was for me. My review here:

Hi mate,

I just wanted to chime in because a lot of what you’re describing resonates with things I’ve felt earlier in my own recovery, and I think it’s completely valid to feel unsettled by the trade-offs at this stage.

You’re only a month out, though, and honestly this seems like one of those really awkward middle phases where the implant is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do mechanically, but the tissues, skin, and brain haven’t caught up yet. The “plastic” feel, odd flaccid behaviour, oval shape, thin-looking neck under the glans, all of that shows up repeatedly in early Titan recoveries. It doesn’t mean it’s permanent, just unfinished.

One thing others have mentioned here is that girth, especially in the distal half, is slow. Length often comes back quickly once cycling starts, but girth lags behind and can look worse before it looks better. The skin also takes time to re-drape and thicken again, which makes everything feel more artificial early on.

The flaccid issue is particularly jarring. Going from a natural flaccid to an early Titan “always semi” can really mess with your head and it’s not something most of us are warned about properly. From what I’ve been told, that usually improves a lot as the cylinders soften, the tissues relax, and you get more control over deflation.

I completely get the sense of loss you’re describing. It’s hard not to compare everything to a natural erection, especially when you remember how that used to feel. But from what I’m seeing, and what guys further along keep repeating, month one is way too early to judge shape, girth, or how “you” it feels.

You’re healing well, you’re cycling, and the mechanics are working. That’s actually the hard part done. The rest is slow, frustrating, and very non-linear.

I hope you stick around and keep updating. Posts like yours are important because they show the messy middle, not just the victory laps. And I genuinely think you’ll feel very differently a few months down the line.
