Before you were implanted, how bad was it?

Long time lurker here, 58 years old, currently single (which is both good and bad in this situation).

I have had ED since I was 30, mostly due to venous leak.

I first went through two rounds of veno-occlusive surgery. While effective for a short period of time, the benefits wore off in less than a year each time.

I then managed it with PDE5 inhibitors in ever increasing doses starting when they came out: first Viagra 25 mg, then 50 mg, then 100 mg. Then daily Cialis 5MG + Levitra 20 MG. Things were good for years. Then finally, about 5 years ago, the pills stopped working.

I then switched over to TriMix 30 mg PAP/1 mg PHE/20 mcg PgE1, which worked well for the first 4 years. In the last year or so, I have had to take a 100 mg Viagra in addition to the 40 ml Trimix injection.

I also have gone through annual shockwave therapy treatments since 2018 (Medispec 1000, which is the only good one on the market). These have definitely provided a boost but don't last more than 8 months or so.

Recently, over the 3 weeks, things have gone downhill, and the above combo is not working - the performance just isn't there. I am getting semi-erections that don't last very long, and my morning wood isn't solid or long enough to provide any effective natural health. I also feel like I have lost sensitivity from stem to tip. It's really weighing on me - my sleep and concentration at work have been affected.

I'm coming to the realization that I will probably need to go bionic at some point.

For all of you Steve Austins (insert theme music here), how bad was it before you took the plunge and got a Titan or an AMX?

Were you getting any natural erections at all? Or semis?

Were you getting any morning wood at all?

How good were your erections on either pills or injections (or both) at maximum doses?

Had you shrunk in size?

Any decreased sensitivity in the shaft/glans?

Part of my question comes from the thought that I probably don't want to let this go too long before acting, given the potential risk of shrinking and fibrosis (I know I have some fibrosis already).
