This is a big journal entry. My implant failed three weeks ago, and I am scheduled for replacement surgery on December 17, 2025. There was always a problem with a tube protruding on the left side, which was uncomfortable and really in the way. I was thinking of getting it fixed and getting the Tenacio pump during the repair as soon as possible after my original surgery. I am very grateful that my surgeon, Dr. Jesse Mills at UCLA, held me off. Clearly, the Tenacio pump is a failure as a product, as it cannot achieve full rigidity. I would think those who got them would start a class action suit, but fortunately, I was not impacted.
There is plenty of good news. I had the most amazing two years with my implant, despite the tube sticking out and a slow start with the pump having adhered to my scrotum. I kept track of the number of men I topped with it, although I did not keep careful track of the number of cycles, but since I was very aggressive with cycling multiple times a day, it certainly added up to a lot. I topped over 2,500 different men, plus my husband, almost every day for two years, plus jerking off with it pumped as hard as possible, and usually after using a dick pump, every night. Those who are surprised at the number need to understand that my husband and I went to between two and four sex parties a week in LA, The men quickly recognized that I could fuck them endlessly with my 8" x 7.5" (at the base, 6.5" at the smallest) dick, so they would often line up, to my total amazement and delight. I became an atheist evangelist about implants, since it is shocking how few men know they even exist, and sadly, that includes most physicians. I did demonstrations for anyone or any group, and got dozens of men into the implant process. I devoted most of my days to answering questions and promoting implants. It was quite rewarding to get several messages a week about how I had changed their lives. It became clear that doing porn would help expand the outreach, and it's very easy when your dick never quits. It has been a blast.
Despite all that, I don't think the pump just "wore out." I'm speculating that the errant tube broke off. As I told the doctors, and confirmed with a CT scan, all the saline had drained out. I was confident of that, since for a day after the failure, I had less and less dick to work with, and it finally made a gurgling sound when I attempted to use the pump. It was quite a shock, since my dick was not "dead" when I got the surgery--it would not stay hard, but could at least get that way. With zero saline left, my dick is now quite limp. I have taken video and photos to show its current state, which I will post on X. (I despise using the Nazi's site, but Bluesky has such severe file size, length, and quality restrictions that I don't bother with it.) My flaccid dick is somewhat smaller than before, even when I thought I had squeezed all the saline out, so now I know that there is a small amount of residual saline, which helps with it looking and feeling natural. The cylinders are now more evident. Using a dick pump, which I am doing aggressively for both size retention as well as hoping to go up from the 24cm+1cm extension, adds enough to make it almost usable. I can reach 8" with a pump, which is about 1/2" smaller than I could with the implant pumped up full. I still completely fill a 2-1/4" inner diameter pump tube at the base.
I have an Rx for alprostadil/phenotolamine (1MG/4MG) gel to make the head and underside bigger and harder. Using it makes it look and feel bigger, although it only lasts about an hour for me. Unlike Trimix, it's OK to just add more. We went to a few parties after the failure, where I hoped to just bottom, but gay men can't resist a big dick (and LA was just rated as having the highest percentage of bottoms in the world), so several times a night, men insisted on my squeezing it in (to well-used holes). I am pointing that out because it proves that when an implant fails, you do have somewhat of a fallback. If I had used a cock ring after pumping, it would have been more usable.
I will post updates once the surgery is done on the 17th. I had to cancel my first two "real studio" multi-day porn shoots, and many other events, including a gay cruise, but I am not discouraged about implants, given the stellar two years I experienced.

Thank you for the update and for the very useful information. You have always been explanatory and helpful with questions. Do you think the implant failed due to too frequent use?
