Implanted Today By Rowland Rees in London

35 m from Ireland here.

I had a 20cm Coloplast Titan One Touch with Lockout and 125cc reservoir implanted this morning by Dr Rowland Rees in London. Penoscrotal approach. My product card also says "rear tip extenders." I have not (yet) been given a breakdown of how much is proximal and how much is distal and I have no idea what size the RTEs are.

I guess it will take time to know how things are going.

At this point now I'm about 6 hours out of surgery. I have a drain in. Penis and balls are mummy wrapped.

I left the hospital after about 1 hour. I'm recovering in an Airbnb now just chilling out. I've been to toilet to pee a few times and no issue peeing although I have to do it in the bath because the penis is sticking up.

I've been given painkillers and antibiotics that I'm meant to take 2 - 3 times a day. I haven't taken any yet and 6 hours out from surgery I'm not really that sore. I haven't applied ice yet either.

Wonder what size I will have and what the next few weeks of healing will be like.

Pre-implant injection size was at maximum 16cm bone pressed or maybe just over 16cm. Max girth with injection was about 4.7 inches. Generally without tensing too much the used to wobble around 15.5cm bone pressed and 4.3 - 4.6 inches girth without the full squeeze of extra injection size.

Hope all your healing goes well. Use those pills if you feel any pain, don't let it get out of hand. Most guys say the first few days are the toughest. Took me several days to feel like doing anything.
Just follow docs instructions. Before long you'll be enjoying it.

Cool. I'm nearly 12 hours out from surgery now and not feeling too bad at all.

The surgical form usually has details of any RTEs and the distal/proximal measurements, but on mine everything is in small boxes and can be hard to read. My guess about what implant size you would get was pretty close. Apparently I'm not as silly as I look .

Try not to stress about size or what things look like once the bandages come off. Whatever you have now will be different in a few months time.

Just updating this record:

I'm now 22 days out from surgery.

On day 8 Dr Rees attempted to inflate me but couldn't because it got sore near the top..

The penis is definitely shorter and slimmer. It's now 14cm (5.5 inches) if I straighten out the folds and hold it out straight as possible in front of me, however that's with no glans engorgement. I have seen the glans engorging in the morning but not to full capacity. Full glans engorgement will probably give me an extra 0.8cm or thereabouts. So my shaft is most definitely 1cm shorter! The tips of the cylinders go just a tiny bit into the glans. I have noticed I can still grab my glans and pull it out an extra 1cm but I don't know if this kind of behaviour might dislodge it from the cylinders?

Girth is also reduced. I was left with just 10% inflation for the first 22 days. In the first 2 weeks the base was thicker then before, mid shaft was about the same 4.5 inches, but the upper half of my penis from mid shaft to glans has reduced down to 3.7 inches which is shocking. It was always a bit slimmer near the glans but it was like 4.2/4.3inches there and then it widened a little bit as you want further down the shaft. But now the girth sharply drops at the mid shaft it almost looks like there's a weird bend in it and it reduces down to 3.7 inches. I'm desperately hoping that cycling will improve the upper half of the penis where it's skinny and misshapen.

I saw Dr Rees today on day 22 and he says everything looks to be healing fine. He inflated me but I'd say we maybe only got 60% because it got sore from the mid shaft upwards. He advised me I can now cycle daily myself which I will start tonight.

He has not told me that I will regain any length or girth and kind of shrugged off those questions without proper answers which I find disappointing.

I will start cycling tonight and see if a course of cycling helps with length and girth and shape. Hopefully it will.

You're starting to panic again! You'll get your length and girth back. I had the same thing. I was shocked by the loss of both length and girth, but on the 43rd day, my girth became incredible! A really thick penis. 6.3 inches.
