Tubes penoscrotal
I’m still worried about the tubes, primarily at the base of the shaft where the scrotum meets the penis. It is slightly above the testicles and seems like it will cause an issue. It feels like a solid wall there. It hasn’t softened much or move down much. Is that how it should be. I was implanted penoscrotally.
10/8/25 Age 27. Diagnosed with venous leak. Could not maintain without constant stimulation. Maybe I went for implant prematurely, too early to tell. Concerns are tubing at base, size, and new curve I never had before. Dr Darshan Patel. AMS 700CX 21+3

I also have that annoying tubing and I was also done penoscrotally. I'm only 3 weeks out from surgery but I really don't expect it to improve much.
More concerning for me is the messed up shape, totally flat dimensions, reduced girth and reduced length of my penis. I am deflated and will remain so until Thursday but I am hoping for dramatic improvements otherwise I'm snookered. I will end up in a loony bin swiftly followed by the graveyard if I don't see massive improvements. I'm depending on cycling to change everything in these next 6 - 12 weeks.

goose1235, FWIW, I had a lot of hematoma around the base which made everything there feel like a "solid wall". Over time, measured in months, the hematoma went away and now the tubing and pump move around feely. What I thought would get in the way of PIV isn't an issue at all.

With the penoscrotal surgery, none of the implant will affect depth of penetration. You need to look at how the genitals all fit together during intercourse. Max penetration happens when your pubic bone hits her pubic bone. My wife likes some grinding action. Thus I frequently am at full penetration. Absolutely none of my implant hits her. All of it is a bit farther back.
With the pubic surgery I don't know. Seems that at the very least you'll have some scarring that might be tender for awhile. Might depend on how the dr routes the tubing. Pump should be very similar if not the same as the penoscrotal surgery.
I have used a wooden ruler to measure length pushed hard into my pubic bone. Plus I have felt all around looking for tubing. I can't find any in my pubic area. I can find a section on my left side crossing my shaft. Btw, I'm surprised at how small in diameter the AMS tubing is.
Those that think the tubing or pump will interfere with intercourse would benefit from watching some amatuer style porn.
Many years ago my wife would sometimes slip her hand down there to release a tangled hair if I was pulling one during sex. Remember, she'd be reaching past her pubic bone down to her vagina. Even at max penetration there is still a little room at the vagina.

Re: Tubes penoscrotal
Everyone has tubes poking out at the base of their penis. Everyone can feel them. Those tubes connect the two cylinders to the pump. See the image below.
There is no way around this with an inflatable. You need to get the pump to connect to the cylinders.
Even though all of us have it, we all live with it just fine. I’ve never heard of anyone saying that the normal amount of tube protrusion at the base causes any issues at all. It is likely something you will just get used to as you get used to your implanted dick.
There is a very small chance (<1%) that there is some abnormality in how they protrude. Your doc can both diagnose it and address it if that is the issue. No one here can help you with that, we can’t see, touch of examine you, we’re not doctors.
But it may just be that you need to get used to it. As time goes it they will soften and settle in. I can certainly still feel mine if I go looking for it. But I rarely think about it. There are a lot of things guys complain about here with implants, but the bit of tubing protruding does not bother most.
Everything is at its most pronounced when you first get implanted. It’s all brand new, you are still swelling in certain places, the implant is very hard, your dick has muscle memory, and it hurts. But I promise you guys… things change over time. Focus on recovery, focus on the positive. Listen to your doc. It’s gonna be all right.
Be well, Leto

50. Implanted 5/21/2024 at Kaiser SSF. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.
