Getting Back In The Saddle

Postby vincentarpino » Mon Dec 01, 2025 11:04 pm

Hi All:

Well, I am now three weeks post-surgery and things are healing nicely. I've been pulling down the pump into my scrotum as suggested and actually using Dr. Perito's method for this. I'm scheduled for my urologist to activate the pump and start cycling on Christmas Eve, but he also said that if I had no pain, soreness, swelling and/or discomfort, I could come in and see him as early as next week.

Today it has felt different. As I've previously written, I am not partially inflated. Today, it feels as if the cylinders have been saying to me: "Let's Go, Pal! It's time to pump...you up!" :) There is almost like a pressure in my penis that feels like it wants to grow and/or get hard. Anyone else feel that during your healing process?

Okay, now a big question. My wife has been totally supportive and has started talking to me in a sexual way again. She's beautiful and sexy and we were pretty sexually active up until the last couple of years when I was battling cancer...twice. So, we just kinda turned off the "sex machine" for almost two years. Not even foreplay or anything because it was just too frustrating with my hard/flaccid state from chemo, diabetes, etc.

So, now we are a couple of weeks away from activation and maybe three weeks away till I'll be ready for a test drive. I'm going to plan a trip somewhere warm so we can lighten the pressure of re-entry :).

My question (well looking for advice, actually) is how did those of you who are married handle this? How did you get back into a sexual life with your wife? I could use some direction/suggestions here.

And, as always, thank you for your positivity and insight.

On Nov.4 I got the go ahead for sex and we made a go of it that night. It was awkward and somewhat uncomfortable but since then it has gotten better each time. We have done it probably about 8 or 9 times since. Maybe more and even twice in one day. ;) That hasn't happened in years. My length has increased from 4 1/2 to 5 inches. I am hoping for at least 5 1/4 since I was at 5 1/2 in the vacuum. It keeps increasing slowly. Overall I couldn't be happier.
59 yr old. Implanted Sept.19, 2025
AMS 700 CX 18 cm + 1.50 extenders
Married 22 years to the love of my life.
Struggled with ED for the last 20 years.
Meds, pumps, injections quit working.

vincentarpino ,
congrats on your great recovery!
You'll start your new sexual life soon, so thats good.
Just remember how you had sex with your wife before the cancer.
Show her how you love her and admire her, how sexy she is and how she turnes you on, kiss her, kiss her breast, go down on her and make a nice oral, that will stimulate her.
During this, pump your dick to something like 70%, take her hand and let her touch your new dick, let her do some oral, while you pump your dick to 80 or 90% and start fucking, if it feels good, you'll bang her more and more and she'll be thankful for your new super-power and from that on you both will enjoy sex to the fullest and even many times a day or a night.
That's all and take it easy, relax and don't be too scared, it will be good. :D
All the best

Follow the doctor instructions. Start slow. Move your erect oenis around gently like a stick shift so that the tissues get used to implant . That will be a little uncomfortable. Being fully inflated will be uncomfortable at first but you are stretching the tissue. Really import is to make sure pump doesn't stick. Doc will likely tell you pull it down. Do it religiously. First time was uncomfortable when he did it but then it was fine.
You may notice your tubes at first around the base of your penis. Mine seem almost unnoticeable.

Depending on other factors your penis may point down a bit vs straight ahead or up. You will need to adjust positions w your wife. We found a pillow under her hips helps as.does doggie.

Use lots of lube. I like astroglide liquid. She may get sore because you will likely be thicker than before and certainly be able to have sex longer (assuming you are in reasonable shape). Go slow. It was such a great feeling to be inside and together again. Also great not to worry about pill or ahot timing. I pump about halfway while we have foreplay then add a pump along the way.

It will feel weird inside your penis at first while you making love and this will get much better over the first 3 months. Now I feel great. I also used skin moisturizer on my pumped up penis to both ease the discomfort of skin stretching and help reconnect with the feelings . She may feel the tips don't mention it just keep asking if she is comfortable and adjust technique as needed. I also take 5 mg Cialis daily to help glans fill w blood.

I have bump under my beltline where the reservoir is. That and the glans sensatovitu took a little time to get used to. It passed within 3 months and lessened quickly over that period.

Enjoy!
Believe post prostate surgery I was around 5 inches down from 6. Never measured girth but post titan otr 20 cm seems thicker.

Vincent, I’m glad you’re almost back in the saddle or you are already back, I’ve been off of FrankTalk for a few days.
I was cleared at 6 weeks, but because of the pain that I was experiencing when I started cycling my implant at 6 weeks, I waited till 8 weeks to try and have sex.
The night we had sex, I pumped up ahead of time, so I would be ready. I think I pumped up to my max, but those early days it was hard to tell what level I had got to. I think I was pumped up for at least 20 minutes before we started foreplay and by that time my dick was starting to ache with pain.
It was awkward but I’m glad we tired. I had to email my doc the next day, because my dick throbbed with pain for two days, I thought that I had done something wrong.
He just told me I had over did it and to take baby steps.
Vincent, it keeps getting better each time.
Yes, use lube to help with the penetration. My wife started hormone replacement pellets a year and a half ago and now she gets super wet when we start foreplay so I don’t usually use lube any more, but on occasion she might be a little drier and then I’ll break out a small amount of lube.
It just keeps getting better and better each time. My wife likes for me to be ready, so I pump up ahead of time like the single guys do when they excuse themselves and go to the bathroom to pump up. It feels good to be hard when I jump in bed and start rubbing my dick on her nice ass.
My wife likes my Bionic dick super hard, so after I’ve been pumped up for a while I’ll give it some more pumps before we start banging! And sometimes, if it doesn’t feel right I’ll pull out and give it some more micro pumps.
I hope that helps, all of us are different and heal different, I’m glad I got through the pain and started enjoying sex again with my wifey.
You’ll do great Vincent,
Your Bionic Brother,
SWorks

Thank you for your encouraging post. I definitely feel the tubes around the base of my penis. Not as much as I've been pulling down on the pump as instructed by my doctor. Thank you again!
