Does anyone here regret getting an implant?

I don't remember that jump in the dissatisfaction column. And i don't imagine how anyone can benefit from rigging that poll, for what? Users are allowed to vote only 1 time.

People who are happy with their implant think the ones who are not happy are "trolls", and vice versa. The truth is anything can happen if you do a surgery, so anyone who does this need to be aware of the risks.

I don’t think people who are unhappy with their implant are trolls. I think *one guy* was engaged in a “concern troll” operation. It’s a game some weird guys play on the internet, it’s a well documented phenomenon. That one guy operated a number of alternative accounts. When that guy disappeared (whether banned or lost interest because he’d been outed, it’s unclear), all the alt accounts shut up, too. The guy did things like make his alt accounts vote for dissatisfaction in the polls, because these guys get off on “concern trolling”, which is pretending to be concerned about people with some affliction (for example, ED), but really just causing discomfort inside the community, in his case by making it seems that getting an implant was a lot more dangerous than it was and led to negative outcomes.

Believe me… it’s silly and stupid, I don’t get it. But it is pretty evident that was what was going on with that one guy.

I did a pole about 6 months to do with satisfaction, I can't remember the exact numbers now but it was mostly really high satisfaction then all of a sudden there were 5 not satisfied votes in a row. It definitely looked suspicious but I didn't say anything, I'm pretty sure it was him trying to skew the results

You saw the same thing I did, a quick succession of votes against. Honestly, that along with some info I received from a few other brothers convinced me to look a bit closer at what he was doing, which is how I figured out he was running multiple alt accounts.

As for why he never came back: from my research on how this type of troll operates, apparently the whole appeal to them is not getting discovered. The game is how much discord they can sow before people find out they are not actually a member of the afflicted group. Once he decided he had lost here, he likely moved on to bug someone else.

You're the first I've come across that had the sub coronal approach. Who was your surgeon and why do they prefer that approach? Very curious

From what I know, Mark1974 and duke_cicero also had the subcoronal approach. Mark1974, if you're reading this, hope you're well, brother.

My surgeon told me that the subcoronal approach has a lower risk of infection than the penoscrotal approach, and that it also carries a lower risk of hematoma compared to the PS. He does all 3 approaches.

I’m not comfortable putting out his name publicly. I’ll just say that if you search his last name you’ll get 3,000+ hits, and many members here consider him one of the top five in the US. I'll also say that he’s been awesome as a person to me.

I still look in once in a while

I plan on giving an update after Xmas, so I have close to six months after the removal operation.

Of coure anything resemblong an erection is gone, but I am still able to masturbate and climax, but orgasm is inconsistent.

I think my surgeon did the best job possible for the surgeries he did, but I really wish he had done penoscrotal instead of subcoronal. He had his reasoning, but I've learned that subcoronal threatens more nerve damage than other techniques. i've never completely recovered my frenulum sensation and orgasm is difficult to reach with soft penis and diminished frenulum sensation

In the new year I will mostly post in the DE forum since implants is no longer an interest of mine

And yes, I regret getting implant, but don't regret having removed two months later

If he used the same IP address or a small subset for all the accounts, the admins might have blocked his IP entirely which would shut him up unless he used a VPN with a large IP pool.
