Congrats on the implant. Recover well.

Ask Ralph if he used a single or sequential dilation. Very curious. Ive read some people saying that you can get some residual natural erection with single dilation as more tissue is preserved.

He's popped in this morning and deflated me, asked him the question, he said he dilates twice and thinks this leaves enough tissue preserved.

Day 3

So last night was rough, kept waking up with a shooting pain in my left testicle, must of been 3 or 4 times. But they but some miracle it seemed to vanish in the morning and I managed a lye in.

Having felt great all day I took a turn for the worse in the past few hours, had shivers and a cough and feeling like I have a bit of a cold.

My penis and scrotum feels OK and looks good no puss, new swelling or anything thay looks off, took the gauze off and went and had a shower and replaced just to be in the safe said.

Done a bit of googling and a cold shortly after surgery is common so I'm not massively concerned unless I should be?

Hey bro. Best of luck on your journey. Hope its all going well for you. We are pretty similar in that I was also implanted in London just a few weeks ago. I was implanted by Rowland Rees at The Seymour Clinic.

Just like yourself mine did not look great when I took the bandage off after 2 days. It looked a bit like a ET's finger; definitely shorter than my natural erection, mega stiff, felt kind of artificial like metal or plastic and the upper half was mega skinny. I came to realise that I was left almost entirely deflated.

I had the drain removed on day 3 and on day 8 had a follow up. Dr Rees inflated about 90% of the water in it but we had to stop before 100% because it got sore near the top where it's skinny so I've been left deflated since day 8 and I was told I could go home to Dublin on day 8. So now I'm on day 16 and the only external damage remaining seems to be a bit of scabbing clumped at the base of the penis where the incision was made and a tiny bit of light bruising where the pump is. I'd love to start cycling now but Dr Rees told me not to touch it until I see him again next Thursday. He said I will probably be good to start cycling Thursday. By that stage I will be 22 days deflated following surgery.

I'm down appx 2cm in length but I get about 0.8cm when the glans engorges so really the length of my shaft is down about 1cm. I'm desperately hoping that I get some or all of that back along with the girth that I've lost in the upper half.

I kind of got flustered poking at it and feeling around and poking the tubing a good bit. One thing I noticed is that the tubing was very palpable for me at 4 o clock and 8 clock. On day 8 when I came home I started measuring the underside of my penis with a plastic ruler and I pushed the ruler quite hard against the tubing to measure myself and I think I noticed the corner of the ruler which can feel a bit sharp was pushing against the tube. I'm just desperately hoping that I didn't damage the tubing by doing that.

Day 4/5

Picking up both days updates as one as they are so similar. Seem to have caught flu which is kicking my arse, the coughing is really agitating where the reservoir is, and overall feel quite shit.

Keeping a close eye on the operation area and there is very little pain now unless I trying to get something off the floor a bit to carelessly, does not seem massively swollen, and no puss or similar, so feel comfortable I'm just sick after having a stressful couple days rather than infection. But if anyone knows better please let me know.

Finally got the tape measure out, is at 5 inches and have been told I'm around 30% inflated. Am excited to see what the inflated length is, but am confident with some cycling i will hit 6 ish inches which was my pre op length

Day 6

My flu is finally starting to let up a bit feel so much better today. Maybe to much information but have managed some massive bowel movements (even had to flush midway through to make more room). Which has aliviated a lot of.the pressure the coughing was causing.

I've got another week off work, but am confident I could go back tomorrow without issue if I had to, but only as I have an office job, wouldn't want to be on my feet all day or picking stuff up.

Still some bruising and if do soemthing that catches the scrotum it stinging a bit, maybe a 3 out of 10 tops.

Happy to be corrected but I expected much worse from the recovery, and I think my opinion may have been weighted as its more older blokes on this forum who no doubt has a much tougher healing process.

Overall still feeling very posative, but the real test is in a few weeks when I can start using it again, and how it functions sexually and the level of impact on sensation.

I have some bpc 157 in the freezet from a golfers elbow injury a couple months ago, am very tempted to get on a cycle of that the help the healing along a bit as it's worked very well with other injuries in the past

Day 7

Again healing seems to be going very well, no swelling i can see, im moving around well just had a walk to the shop and was no issue at all.

As things are healing up I'm beginning to notice that the right tip seems to sit outside of the glans and is very noticeable, the left on the other hand is very discreet and what i would have expected. Is this normal at this stage and is it something that naturally improves with time?

I feel more comfortable this is normal but the same also appears to apply to the right underside of my shaft, it seems to bulge in the middle and has several hard ridged sections, is this also normal and soemthing that improves with time?

I bet flying right after was a real struggle.wasnt it? I struggled enough with a car trip back to Birmingham!

I'm curious was it skinnier at the top prior to surgery? Or is this new?

I'm itching to start cycling to or at least see what it looks like fully inflated, the suspense is starting to get to me now hahaha!

I bet you will be ok with your ruler, if you didn't cut your skin you should of been able to cut anything underneath i wouldn't have thought?
