So with two out of three sutures out, I notice the left side one is sealed up perfectly, and the center one is still in place as it wasn't ready to be removed (being removed on the 9th). The right side one is out, but there is very slight amount of blood spotting from that one. I hit it with neosporin a couple times a day and keep it covered with a bandaid.
Hopefully that's pretty normal after suture removal. It spotted a bit when Hakky removed it as well and he didn't seem concerned.

It still intrigues me that no one's distal measurement equates to their actual penis length, including mine.
I don’t think it’s a mystery, it’s measured from the incision site. The point is to measure the entirety of the space, so the doc measures both direction by sticking a special ruler in. Both are measured from the incision site, and you add them together to get the total length, which will be your implant size plus RTEs.
The whole thing is laid out in the AMS User Manual. I assume there is a similar doc for Coloplast. See page 11 for the method, and page 12 for the calculation:

50. Implanted 5/21/2024 at Kaiser SSF. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

Thanks Leto. I understand that calculation but it does my head in when I try and apply it to my actual measurement now.
My distal measurement was 11 cm and proximal was 10 cm. I was implanted with a 21 cm LGX and no RTEs, so that adds up.
It's probably not helping that I can no longer really see where my penoscrotal incision is, but it was pretty much at the base of my shaft.
After many months of cycling and sex I am at 6.5 inches bone pressed erect. I do also have a bend which would make my dick longer if completely straightened out. But 6.5" is the pelvic bone to glans tip length I get, i.e. the effective, maximum insertable length for penetration.
The length of my glans currently measures 4.5 cm (not engorged). Add that to the 11 cm distal part of the implant gets me to approx. 6.2 inches.
So I'm still missing a bit somewhere. Maybe something to do with the pubic fat pad?
EDIT: Also my cylinder tips are a long way into my glans when erect, so that probably means more is missing somewhere.
Could also be related to the cylinders stretching?
I realize this is only "chewing gum for the mind" so I won't be losing any sleep over it
p.s. I assume they didn't give you that version of the manual? My patient copy of the AMS user manual is only a handful of pages.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC & nerve sparing RRP Mar 22, profound ED since. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.
