You definitely can. 2-5 full pumps and you’ll have a nice rounded chubby. Some doctors (Eid in particular) say you shouldn’t inflate at all except when you’re using it, but a lot of guys do it and I have never heard of anybody coming to grief over it.

Regarding keeping a few pumps in the implant all the time.

It’s probably fine as long as you routinely deflate completely. You want the reservoir to be able to be completely full from time to time. You don’t want a scar capsule forming around the reservoir that will prevent you from deflating completely when you need.

Just like you want to cycle to completely full distended cylinders in your penis, you want to cycle completely in the other direction too so the reservoir can be as big as it needs to be.
