Hello everyone, so I've noticed a really embarassing problem I have after getting my implant. I am always dribbling after urination no matter how much time I spend getting it out(sometimes I spend up to 10 minutes dangling and milking it). After some time I'll notice my underwear feels damp. I personally can't smell anything but I think others can and it's awful.
What do I do to combat this? I looked up some solutions and it seems Kegels and getting incontinence pads are the only things I can do. Any other suggestions or comments?
Thanks in advance

Dealing with dribbling after urination
23 y.o., Eastern Europe. Worsening ED from a very young age, probably after injury. Took Accutane at 14 - probably made it worse. Meds don't work. Implanted on 19.03 by Dr Ihsan Karaman in Istanbul, Rigicon Infla 10AX, 20 cm + 1cm RTE.

Re: Dealing with dribbling after urination
I have the same problem after prostatectomy and have come up with this idea.
Needs::
1-- Penis Clamp ( incontinence clamp) Spend some time learning how to use it correctly. The slightest pressure will stop the dribble.
2- A wearable stopwatch, wrist alarm, or a phone with a 1-hour alarm. You then go to the toilet and remove the clamp for as long as you can.
3- Not sure how an implant would affect it (as I do not have one yet), but the pressure will be so slight that I don't expect it to.
4- May only work if you can get to the bathroom often.
Good Luck

1955. I have had ED for years. We were planning to go for a Rigi10 in October 2024. Life got in the way (heart attack & stent), so we are now going for injections as a fill-in. 9/2025 More life roadblocks with prostate Cancer:((

Just a later thought. Have you got recent PSA blood test results?

I've taken to.sitting when I urinate. It seems to help.

Hi Tony,
How long have you had that condition since being implanted?
I briefly read through some of your previous posts and it looks like you may have had some type of pelvic floor issue?
That can often be associated with continence problems.
You are very young and I would think it's unlikely to be related to Prostate Cancer, but you could do a PSA blood test for peace of mind.
I had really awful problems with urinary incontinence caused by my radical prostatectomy but now rarely have any issues.
I tried the standard treatments - waiting, pads, penile clamp, Kegels etc but significant leakage persisted for over 2 years.
It did eventually slow to very similar symptoms as what you have described. It was still very embarrassing and I really needed a solution.
So I went to a urologist who specializes in treating male urinary incontinence, and does urethral sling and artificial urinary sphincter surgery.
Initially he had me keep a bladder diary, then we tried medication for overactive bladder. That didn't help.
Next step was Urodynamics testing, which revealed that my bladder had become inelastic/stiff, and wasn't completely filling before I urgently needed to pee. That was also the likely cause of my trivial but persistent leakage, in addition to possible surgical nerve trauma to my only remaining sphincter muscle. He said that in my case he would be unable get the tension correct on a sling due to the small amount of leakage. An artificial sphincter would be overkill, also may not work, and I was considering an implant at the time. Two devices with physical controls would be far too much junk down there for my liking.
Ultimately he performed a procedure to inject Botox at various points in the wall of my bladder. That settled down the remaining leakage to where I became 99.9% continent. There are some infrequent situations, such as during really strenuous exercise or extreme bending, or a few too many drinks
One thing worth trying is to partially inflate your implant and see if that stops the leaking. There was a small clinical study done in South Korea some years ago that used partially inflated IPPs to resolve urinary incontinence in a cohort of about 30 men who had prostatectomies. Many of them had complete resolution of their symptoms, others had significant improvement. Only a few needed alternate treatments.
Franktalk member "doctuth" is the resident expert on that study, and the techniques he has adapted from it that work best for him with his implant.
It might be worth reading through his posts and/or contacting him via PM.

Re: Dealing with dribbling after urination
This isn't implant related, but I've noticed (before implant and after) that my penis drains better if I angle my hips way forward, arching my back and leaning forward a bit. I don't know how the plumbing works in there, but I wonder if that helps make all of the tubing downhill the whole way. Anway, if I am standing upright to drain, and then I angle my hips forward, I almost always get a few more drops.
Implanted June, 2022 by Dr. Karpman. 22cm Titan with 1.5cm RTE.
