Just had my chlorhexidine shower and getting ready for bed. I'm in a strange city 4000 km from home sitting in the little unit that will be our home for the next week. A nagging voice inside me is saying "what is this madness your doing?"
Nevertheless I'm looking forward to tomorrow and my Titan implant (unless it changes at the last minute).
I'm not sure if this will turn into a journal but I'll certainly post a few updates.
I'm glad to finally finish using my Restorex device which I have a love / hate relationship with.
I'm anticipating a straightforward operation and recovery as I have always quickly bounced back from surgery. However I've just turned 66 and things may have changed.
Of to bed shortly then up early for a light breakfast and fasting from 7 am. Admission to the hospital is at 8 am and I'm anticipating my procedure will be about 1 pm as the fast is for 6 hours prior to surgery.
Finally a leisurely 15 minute walk to the hospital which is just around the corner.
Then the fun begins.
Last sleep before the big day. Possibly a journal.

Re: Last sleep before the big day. Possibly a journal.
Best wishes to you.
The journal that guys posted helped me determine that implant was the right way forward for me. So I made one of my process. I figured it was a way to pay it forward.
If you can make a journal I’m sure guys that come after you will benefit from your experience.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Ice ice ice ice ice will be your friend. And stay off your feet for the first couple days. Just rest and ice. That’s your job initially.

Best of luck with your surgery Kiwias! Update us once you’re through the procedure and have the ability to post.
It will be done in no time and then you can focus on recovery.

Kiwias, congrats on making the hard decision and being on final approach. I think most of us went thru that "what the hell did I let them do to me" phase, and mine lasted a couple weeks instead of days. Hang in there, it'll be life changing, and later what you'll be thinking is "why didn't I do this sooner?". Best wishes for a successful procedure and smooth recovery.

You're probably bionic now, hope it all went well.
I sure hope you didn't have to walk home after the surgery.

Day 1 Post-Op – Early Update After Infrapubic Titan
I’m one day out from my implant surgery and wanted to post an early update, especially for anyone preparing for their own procedure. I also want to thank everyone here who has encouraged me or shared their own stories — this community really does make a difference.
The surgery itself went smoothly. My surgeon mentioned encountering some fibrosis low in the proximal corpora and had to use a rasp to get full dilation, but he said everything opened up well in the end. I woke up partially inflated, not pointing as high as some guys describe, but I’ve been instructed to keep it supported in an upward position for the next few weeks, so that’s how it’s positioned now.
Even at this stage, with swelling and tightness, I’m actually pleased with how it looks. The overall shape and alignment are much better than I expected on Day 1, which has helped with the mental side of things.
Pain-wise, the first few hours were just a deep dull ache in the pubic area. I was able to get up and walk for about 10 minutes not long after leaving recovery, which was reassuring. Things got tougher when I tried to empty my bladder. Straining triggered a burning, stinging pain right where the scrotum meets the base of the shaft, and the sensation quickly spread through the whole scrotum. For a short period, it hit around a 6/10. From everything I’ve read on here, that seems pretty typical in the first day or two — especially when the proximal area needed more work during surgery.
A stronger painkiller settled it down completely, and since then I’ve been back to the original dull ache, which is very manageable. I was able to pee normally after a few tries, and thankfully avoided needing a catheter.
Swelling is building as expected, mostly in the scrotum and the base of the shaft, but nothing looks out of the ordinary. The infrapubic incision is clean and dry. Walking is fine in short bursts, and sitting just requires a bit of experimenting to find a comfortable angle.
Emotionally, I’m feeling relieved and grateful. The early visual result is encouraging, and the support and shared experiences from this forum have made a huge difference. I’ll keep posting updates as things progress.
Thanks again to everyone here. the guidance and encouragement really helped me reach this point with confidence.

55 years. Using bimix 0.4 units. Works well but inconsistent and very inconvenient. Seriously considering an implant. 6.4 inches bone pressed length to tip, 5 inches girth base, 4.5 inches girth mid-shaft.

Kiwias, Congratulations on your surgery and all the best on your recovery. The many surgery updates folks post here are definitely useful as it shows how things progress over time after surgery and helps set the expectations for people who will go though with this in the future.
I noticed two interesting points from your signature. One is that you gained significant length and some girth by using the restoreX device. Could you please share your protocol of using the restoreX device that allowed to achieve so much length gain? I would like to gain some additional length before my surgery.
My girth is very similar to yours. Did you get a regular Titan or a narrow base Titan?
