5 years ago I had ED but could still get hard enough for mediocre sex with shots, pills and a pump.
It was a lot of effort for sex that barely felt good, came with a lot of anxiety and was often disappointing for my wife.
This slowly got worse until I really couldn't have real sex anymore and trying to was causing stress in my marriage.
6 months ago I learned what was really involved with an IPP. 5 months ago I learned it might be covered by my insurance. 4 months ago I met dr Taj and 3 months ago I got my titan implanted.
Lets compare for a second: in July if i wanted to try to have sex i had to take 20mg cialis, a 2x dose of quadmix, at least 1 stiff drink and maybe id get hard enough to penetrate my wife for 3 or 4 minutes in a way that wasn't great for me or her.
Now we have sober, stress free daytime sex without pills or shots that both of us really enjoy.
The first month after surgery was challenging but I have never for a second regretted it.
Does anyone here regret getting an implant?

Coloplast titan 26 cm placed on 8/26/25 by Dr Taj
~8" before IPP but not "hard" enough for pvi.
Tried everything as things progressed:
Pills, pumps, prp, trt, gainswave, peptides, trimix, quadmix and a vibrating ring.

I think I have no regrets. One hiccup I have is that I’m experiencing delayed climaxing during masturbation and am unable to climax during sex. My nerve healing is taking forever. I used a world-class surgeon, and I know he tried his best. It's still a big step higher than ED for me personally.
What approach did your surgeon take? Penoscrotal or infrapubic?
Mid 30s. UK. ED since mid teens. Done the pills, injections, P Shot, Gainswave, ESWT shockwave.
Now preparing to take the plunge under care of Professor Ralph at UCLH. Planning on a Rigicon Infla10 AX with Pulse pump.

No regrets at all. I have an MPP and don't feel like switching to an IPP. Love it. And so do my girlfriends.
Born 1990. ED since age 20 after a bicycle accident. Coloplast Genesis malleable implanted December 2024 by the great Dr. Laurence Levine in Chicago.

Long time member. I can only remember two members that voiced serious regrets.
One had a malleable. He was a poorly control diabetic. Never kept up on his diabetes treatment very well. The mpp had deteriorated somehow & he wasn't able to get a revision.
The member with an IPP was a long time member here. He had a history of being leery of an implant for several reasons. Concealment I think was high on his list. Several years ago I posted to him that I felt he would never get an implant of any style.
Maybe a year ago he was implanted. Something foreign in him seemed to set him off. Finally had it removed. Btw, he did use a very well regarded dr. His last few posts seemed he was off the rails. Talked of voluntary euthanasia. Have not seen him post in maybe 6 months.
I guess my feelings run along the lines of not only do you need a good dr. But a good state of mind is key also. Taking care of your physical & mental health is important to long term success.
I see a member posting about his dissatisfaction now. Even though he is less than a month after surgery.
For the record. My recovery was about average. I always knew that the pain would eventually stop. Pain can be treated. So many members are chasing what they think will be an easy surgery. I think it can be easy to be disappointed going in with that mind set. If I ever need a revision? I won't fear it. Even getting a scrotal method is fine. I can't find my scar if I look for it. While the AMS pump is supposedly large. It doesn't have large square corners. Mine consistently is harder that my teenage erction at 15 or maybe 17 pumps.

1. Implant and everything that comes with it (good and bad).

That's an insane journey brother. How is your size now after all those operations? Seems to go up and down like a yo yo.
Hoping this one lasts ages for you brother

I think the second user you’re referencing was Mark1974 - I actually think he also had a malleable (Coloplast Genesis).
Diagnosed with venous leak after having ED majority of my life. Grateful to have some answers, and considering both MPP and IPP as options.
