Hello everyone. I am looking for honest feedback as I feel like my recent doctor visits were full of gaslighting and wrong information. Any feedback is appreciated.
I got my first implant almost 3 years ago. It was an AMX700. My pre-op erect size was 6.4'. After a year of cycling, the best my erections would get was 5". This seemed like an extreme loss compare to anything I have read on here or any other research I have done. I went to a different doctor to see if there was anything I can do to get my length closer to what it was before. The first Dr had given me the wrong size, and my new Dr was confident he could help get me back closer to my original length. I had a revision done in May of this year with the new Dr and he put in a Coloplast Titan. A few days after I returned home from the hospital, I noticed a 'kink' or 'dog ears' in the tubing in the shaft. I also had a bad hematoma which caused a massive accumulation of blood in my scrotum. At my 5 week checkup, he said he wanted to put me under to drain the blood and he would dress the kink and other concerns while I was under.
So 6 weeks after my surgery in early May of this year, I had a 2nd surgery in June. When I awoke in my hospital bed, I still felt the kink in the shaft but he came to the room and said he completely replaced it again. He brushed off the fact that I had the kink still and seemed confident that he fixed the issue. As the healing continued, it was very obvious that things were not right. I have a kink and dog ears on either side of the shaft that you can notice when it is flaccid as well as when it is hard. I also need to sit down to pee now because my urine can come out like someone is holding their thumb over a garden hose and half of the time if I stand, I am cleaning up urine off my bathroom floor.
I had my incision at the base of the shaft on my lower abdomen and now that it has been 5 months since the 2nd surgery, it looks like a swollen mound that is raised almost a full inch in some areas. It isn't swollen though, it feels like tubing and it feels like a lot of the equipment hasn't settled into the correct place. The implant I have in is 20cm with a 1cm rear extender. Some issues I am experiencing are:
- The tubes are not exactly parallel. It almost feels like they twist away from each other and one tip is a half inch shorter and it can clearly be felt at the tip of the penis.
- The swollen looking mound at the base of my shaft. It also goes on a slant so if you measure my penis, it is almost a full inch shorter on the left side than the right.
- The part that drives me crazy the most, is the whole reason I had this surgery was to get closer to 6.4" and now, it is 4.1". It has measured 10.5 cm on the left side of my shaft since my surgery and vigorous cycling everyday hasn't helped a single centimeter. This means more of my implant is inside my body than is showing outside.
My doctor didn't answer any questions I had and instead, sent me to a college for a 2nd opinion. Here are things that he told me:
- 10.5cm is normal length
- It is normal for more of the implant to be inside my body than showing on the outside.
- It is normal to have these random bulges at the base of my shaft
- Coloplast Titans are known for kinking
- It is in my head, if I find the right girl, she won't care
- If I am not happy, I should try cycling for 3 hours straight everyday.
Any feedback is appreciated and if anyone has heard of these issues, what was the solution, if any? I have an appointment with my surgeon on Wednesday and I just want him to be honest about what is happening and answer my questions. Thanks all!
Post Op Issues. Anyone experience anything similar?
