8 Day Post Op Follow Up

Postby Irish Lad 34 » Thu Nov 20, 2025 12:54 pm

Had my first in-person follow up consultation with Dr Rees today. Had a penoscrotal Titan Implanted 8 days ago.

He inflated the device. I'm not sure how much but I think it went to 80 or 90% but I'm not sure. We had to stop because I was getting pain in the upper half of my penis where it's now really skinny.

It didn't really get any longer as far as I could see. From where I was looking lying flat on my back the aesthetics of the implanted penis still looked shitter than a normal penis; flatter and just unnatural but I'm sure these kind of feelings are normal enough for 8 days post op. Deflating was sore on the scrotum.

He has advised me to leave it for another 2 weeks. I have another consultation with him in 2 weeks and he reckons I might then be OK to part ways with him and start cycling the device.

Now I did mention to him my concerns with the tubing which rides up to the base of my penis and reduces the bone pressed length by 2cm. I asked if this will improve and he said maybe, just leave it for now. He said he put the tubes back as far as he could and he couldn't possibly conceal them more discreetly than where they are now. This to me was not the answer I was hoping for because it sounds like that tubing is going to be a permanent issue for me. I asked if it's safe to hammer those tubes because they will take a pounding through any kind of sexual activity and he said yes you wouldn't have to worry about breaking them. That's the only positive about the tubing-that I can push hard against them and pushbthem back a bit when I'm fully healed, but apart from that I'm not happy with where they are and how they feel. I'll ask him when I see him in a few weeks if they can be revised if they're still an issue after 6 - 12 months. If he says no then ill go for a 2nd opinion with another high volume surgeon and see if a revision can be done to relocate the bulky tubing.

Hey Lad…. It sounds like things are progressing normally. I think it’s pretty normal to think your dick looks a little weird. Remember that you’re not at all aroused in a clinical setting…once you are getting engorgement through arousal, your penis will round out somewhat, the head will plump up, etc. you can use Tadalafil or Viagra to help if needed in that regard. Also I found after a few weeks my dick started looking more normal erect…I think surgical trauma can cause swelling or reduced blood flow and those can affect the look too.

As for the tubing, My Titan has a tube going from the reservoir to or under the base of the penis, but it’s kind of deep and not visible. I think you should not make any judgements about it until you start having sex. What might seem like an issue could prove to be unnoticeable during the actual act.

Irish Lad, I agree with ElbowRoom. I get your frustration with the tubing but things can be very different after weeks and months of healing and cycling.
Try and not focus on it. I've said elsewhere that I can feel my tubing when erect but it hasn't been an issue for sex and doesn't affect the depth of penetration at all. Neither can my wife feel it. And yes, all implants are designed to take a pounding during sex. Trust me, you won't break anything :D.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC & nerve sparing RRP Mar 22, profound ED since. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.

Will the tubing be noticeable?
I think that depends on several things:
1: how lean are you. The leaner you are, the less padding there'll be.
2: do you have RTEs? As I understand it, rtes make the tubing further away from your body. More noticeable.
3: how... large... is your johnson. Im finding that because im almost 8.5" and hard as a rock now, my wife isnt really getting down to the base and grinding into me like she used to when I was in the 7s and *softer*. So while the tubing is there if you go feeling for it, its not an issue during sex because shes not taking it all the way in like she used to.

~8" before IPP but not "hard" enough for pvi.
Tried everything as things progressed:
Pills, pumps, prp, trt, gainswave, peptides, trimix, quadmix and a vibrating ring.

1 - I'm lean/average but I have spoken to another guy the same build as myself and I have shown him pictures of my tubing and he says he did not experience the same thing.

2 - I have a 1cm RTE.

3 - Pre-op it was 6.2 - 6.3 inches BPL, girth averaged about 4.5 inches. Now that I'm post-op it's max 5.5 inches long and the girth in the upper half is 3.7 inches and flat as a pancake. Girth in mid shaft and base is normal though, it's turned my penis into a cone shape.

With my length it would be easy to penetrate all the way down to a full thrust so I'm really not happy with the visible palpable tubing right now. It was one of the first things I noticed with the implant. I felt them before I even took my mummy wrap off.
