Just a quick update and a thank you for all of your insights, advice and support.
Saw my urologist today, and although he poked around my balls like they were ornaments on the Christmas Tree, he said everything is looking good and I'm healing well. He said he likes the current placement of the pump and that as the pain, swelling and soreness wears off, to keep gently tugging on it to keep it in place at the bottom of the scrotum. Interesting though...he contradicted his NP a couple of times as she had seen me earlier. I'll take my surgeon's answers as what I should be paying close attention to, and hers on advisement.
It was confirmed for me today that my implant, an AMS LGX with Tenacio, is 15cm with a 2cm RTE. And both my surgeon AND the NP agreed that I need to calm the fuck down, be nicer to myself, keep icing and know that they are both confident that I will return to my original erect size...with cycling.
As for cycling, he wants me back in five weeks to activate the pump and teach me the ropes. My appointment is on Christmas Eve. However, my doc, who is truly great...said that if the swelling and soreness goes away prior to my next appointment, to please call his office and they will get me in earlier. But, he wants to make sure I'm free of pain, swelling and soreness first.
I will say that today is the first truly first day I'm feeling excited about this thang!

Day 15 Update
66 yrs old. 3X colorectal cancer and survivor. Twice Stage 4. Between chemo and Type 2 diabetes, it's all taken toll on my ED. Pills, VED, HRT no longer work. No injections for me. Had AMS LGX with Tenacio implanted on 11/4/25. 15cm with 2cmRTE.

Glad to hear it! I know you were excited before surgery, and am sorry to hear if since you were down about it. The truth is all of us had some doubts in the first few weeks. It takes time - many months - for you to recover fully, for your implant to settle in physically, for you to regain length, and for your mind and body to “accept” the implant. But you’ll get there. Keep resting and recovering, the fun part will begin soon!
Be well,
Leto

50. Implanted 5/21/2024 at Kaiser SSF. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

Dang Vincent, you’ve been through a lot! This new Bionic Dick should be a walk in the park for you. Leto, is right, it just takes time for your body to get used to the implant and things will start getting better soon.
It’s a Marathon, not a sprint.

Thanks SWorks! Yeah, that's the thing. The first few days I was talking to myself like...everything you've been through, why the hell am I going through torture again! And this time it's voluntary. But...I am over that now. Thank you again for all of your support and good wishes.

Re: Day 15 Update
You are finally coming to the end of the “oh shit what have I done” phase. As you cycle and your body adjusts to having a new resident, things will normalize, you’ll gain some size back, and and your brain will adjust and start to recognize that, while it’s not exactly the same, oh yeah this is your dick and it looks and feels pretty great.
Keep giving yourself time, try to trust in the process, and yes: calm the fuck down.
