Distal and proximal length

Postby richard_goes_bionic » Wed Nov 19, 2025 5:09 am

Hi everyone, who knows his distal and proximal length? Or what is the average length of the implant which is inside the body and not in the penis. Maybe a %ge from total. My papers don't show the measurements. My implant is 22+1.

Richard,
There really isn't any "average" as we are all different to some extent. My distal length was 11 cm and my proximal was 10 cm. I have 21 cm cylinders with no RTEs, so the total implant length is still 21 cm, which equates to the distal and proximal numbers added together. My erect penis length is currently 6.5 inches (approx. 16.5 cm) fully bone pressed at 8+ months post op with daily cycling. That's pretty much back to my pre ED size.

Your surgeon should have a record of your procedure details. I would contact their office and ask them to send you the information you need.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC & nerve sparing RRP Mar 22, profound ED since. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.

It’s also important to note that those measurements are made from the incision, not from the internal/external base of the penis. So if one surgeon makes their incision 3 cm higher than another, they will both end up with the same total length, selecting the same sized implant. But the distal/proximal measurements will be 3cm different.
