Rigicon?

Postby Coasty » Mon Nov 17, 2025 6:27 pm

I had my pre-op with Dr Hakky today for my Titan implant surgery in December. He offered a Rigicon implant early next year if I wanted to be part of FDA testing. I don’t know enough about the Rigicon and hesitant to be part of a test group. Is it worth delaying the surgery to get the Rigicon? He mentioned it should eliminate the dog ears and more user friendly pump.

Maaaaybe. How big are you? A testing group is just that…TESTING. The Rigicon has a good history in Europe. But it’s new tech in the states. I would do a lot of research before agreeing to be part of a test concerning my johnson.

I love Hakky to death, he’s an exceptional surgeon and did my implant. But how many Rigicons has he done? Yes, it’s functionally the same as a Titan or AMS. But every device has its quirks and I don’t know if I want to be part of the learning curve. That said, I have no doubt Hakky would do an exceptional job.

Rigicon are getting popular everywhere else in the world, once the FDA approves it for you guys it will become more popular there too.
I'm in Australia, there are a few guys I've chatted to the have mentioned something about the trial here too.
I'm pretty sure here Rigicon give a lifetime warranty as well but I could be wrong, I'm sure one of the other guys will chime in soon
43, ED since late 20's, Pills on and off since then increasing strengths with inconsistent results. Now 5mg Cialis daily and either 20mg Cialis or 100mg Viagra
Not sure if it's Psychological or Physiological, long-term use of SSRI's probably hasn't helped

I’m 5.5. It seems he did say a lifetime warranty. Curious if any Rigicon implantees can comment on their experience so far. I’m hesitant and said no but willing to wait a few more months for something that will be in my body for years… assuming it’s a step up.

Just remember that the warranty only covers the cost of the device, not the surgeon’s fees, anesthesia, hospital services, etc.

AMS and Coloplast have 10 year warranty, so lifetime is a step up in that regard but I’m not sure how much it might actually save you, especially if you have good insurance that covers the surgery.

Rigicon has been available here in Australia for a while. My surgeon has been using them for some time as well as AMS, and I first started discussing them with him early 2024. I was originally keen on the Rigicon Infla10 Pulse AX but eventually he steered me away from it after a couple of patients had the tubing connectors fail. Last time I asked he said that they have now fixed the issue with improved connectors on the latest version. I think the couple of guys here are involved in a trial that is feeding into the FDA approval process in the USA. I believe you are correct about the lifetime warranty on the device (only).
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC & nerve sparing RRP Mar 22, profound ED since. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.

I’m from Australia and had a Rigicon implant in July 2025. I also participated in the study.

I chose Rigicon mainly because I was under the impression that it had the best flaccid look. To be be honest I didn’t do that much research but that was the game changer for me. For me the most important consideration was that I got the best high volume surgeon that I could find.

I was told that when it was inflated it would get a 9 out of 10 for hardness compared to the other device options (forgot the actual product name) that would get a 11 out of 10.

I was more than satisfied with its hardness when fully inflated. It felt like a natural hardness. A full on boner. I can only imagine the other implants must then feel solid as a rock in comparison. Good luck to you all.

When flaccid the only downside I experienced was that that there was one very noticeable kink on the bottom left hand side on my shaft. (Is this what everyone refers to as a dog ear?). My penis naturally falls to the right when flaccid when left pointing northward in my trousers.

I was a bit of a shower as apposed to being a grower prior to the implant. I’m now definitely a shower!

Sometimes when flaccid I would have to position it a little to get a most natural look.

From what I can recall the kink would dissipate when I pumped it up.

Other than that I was pretty happy with it……until I developed a leak about 10 weeks in from when I had the implant (sign was my reservoir would run out of fluid). It say ran out after 25 pumps and then a week or two later I was down to 15 pumps.

So just had the revision. Early days but it has been a lot easier second time around. My only fear is infection.

The implant had a micro leak in one of the tubes (I forget which one) and was not a connector issue. It is being sent to the States to get analysed. Guessing it can only be one of two things that could have occurred. My surgeon accidentally pricked the tube or it is a structural defect.

As an aside not fussed if it was a surgical error. We are all human. Would almost prefer it to be this for a whole lot of reasons.

My surgeon also said that the ‘connector issue’ had been identified and resolved a few years ago.

Product has a lifetime warranty. My only cost was the anaesthetic. Surgery was done pro bono.

Can’t wait till I’m given the go ahead to start cycling in mid December

Just to put things in perspective.
My guess is my urologist did not charge me for the revision because of the short time frame (less than 4 months).

Again just guessing, if I was up for a revision after say a few years down the track I would have to pay for everything (except for the Rigicon implant)

Surgery costs even after health insurance and Medibank rebates is a very significant cost.

Again just guessing, the actual cost of the implant would perhaps be one of the cheaper components of the whole process
