Should you leave your penis facing up towards your tummy after an implant?

If so, for how long? What would happen if you did not leave it facing up?

Different docs have different instructions about this. I was instructed to wear it pointing up for 5 to 6 weeks. The theory is this will help the upward angle as it heals.

I have no idea if that made any difference for me or not. But I followed my docs orders. Other docs don’t think this matters and don’t suggest it.

I did after all three of mine. Doesn't seem to have made any difference that I can tell. When fully pumped I still point between 2:30 and 3 o'clock position.

I can’t point straight up, the top of my dick would be under my belt. Mine’s usually pointed upwards about 45 degrees to one side or another. I find that more comfortable than letting it hang down my leg like I used to.

For my first implant (July 25) I kept my penis pointing north for about 6 weeks. When given the go ahead to start cycling I would pump up lying on my back with it still pointing north.

The good news was when erect it was pointing up around 1 o’clock. The bad news it was excruciating (as in impossible) to move it down to say 3 or 4 o’clock. I was very concerned.

Then by luck a few days later I tried pumping up sitting down with it pointing at 3 o’clock. I found I then had good range of movement (from say 1 to 4 o’clock). Go figure?

And no I have never since tried to pump it up facing north when flaccid.

I have just had a revision done in early November and as per the doctor’s advice I am keeping it pointing north. And no, I again will never ever pump it up when it is pointing north.

As an aside, when it was flaccid I tended to have it pointing north (mine falls to the right). That seemed most comfortable for the newer bigger flaccid dick. The only downside being that I am not circumcised and the head of the penis always now stuck out a bit from the ‘sleeping blanket’ and was a bit sensitive when touching my underwear.

The price you pay. So I told my ‘old fella’ to toughen up.
