Hey man. No I'm sorry I have not had any injections or anything. I feel like I've read about guys getting implants after those kind of injections but I'm not certain. Pretty sure I have read of guys doing it after an implant but surely someone else can be of more help. Good luck

Thanks Nick! Good luck to you on your upcoming appointment. Keep us posted on how it goes & reach out if you have any questions. This site is pretty helpful for navigating implant decisions or getting advice or lived experience suggestions.

Also I hear you on trimix injections being painful. Luckily I used bimix for awhile & didn't get an ache from that. When the compound pharmacy I used stop doing bimix & I had to switch to tri, it was completely unenjoyable for me. A constant ache & I hated it. In fact, I only tried it a handful of times & was essentially unbearable for me. Implant was my best option & no regrets. Good luck

I’m trying to read as many patient experiences as I can right now - I was recently diagnosed with venous leak and am assessing if I should go with an MPP on account of the reliability of the device / less failures, or if I should go with the IPP on account of the many obvious advantages (despite the risk stats on mechanical failure rates). Been researching off and on for about a year before my diagnosis too, so I feel like I’m pretty informed overall but now that the choice is coming up, it’s more overwhelming than I anticipated!

I’d been initially very focused on the MPP journals / patient experiences because I thought it might be a better choice given my age / potential number of revisions I’ll need throughout my lifetime. But it looks like my insurance might cover the procedure - which I wasn’t taking into account before - and it’s making me think maybe I should go for the IPP first and just see how I fare.

Needless to say, posts like yours are super helpful. Appreciate the holistic review of what’s good / not so good. I’m going to keep going reading more about the IPP over the next two weeks and then I have a virtual appointment with Dr Hakky where we’re going to discuss the implant as my next move.

If I ever have any questions about your own experience, would you mind if I sent you a PM?

Hey JohnnyBorg,
I'm just wondering if you have decided which way to go & if you've made any progress in the process yet? Hope all is well

I should also note now that since I've started taking Cialis my head engorges much better than the post implant inflated picture shows. It plumps up well enough that I can hardly locate the tips really digging in with my fingers. If I just pump it without arousal like I did in the "post implant" pic I can feel the tips by palpating with fingers. So pde5s are nice for me to have post implant.

I may take a picture to upload in the future to show difference. But it actually helps engorgement in the shaft as well. The shaft becomes more round & less oval shaped- so definitely recommend post implant Cialis to others.

Hey Jgoody, really appreciate you checking in man. My last consult was virtual with Hakky in early October, and I decided to do one more consult in early December where I’ll finalize my decision on IPP vs MPP. I’m planning on doing a detailed write up on my choice and reasoning on approach, but I’m 90% sure at this point that the MPP will be a better fit for me for a handful of reasons. Still leaving the door open for the IPP, but for me I do think the MPP makes a lot of sense.

I’ll keep the brotherhood updated!
Diagnosed with venous leak after having ED majority of my life. Grateful to have some answers, and considering both MPP and IPP as options.

Nice. Sounds like you figured out what you wanna do. I'll be interested to hear how a malleable goes for you. I'd be too scared to go that route so I see it as brave lol. Good luck & I'm sure you'll be happy bro

I’m a 51 year old male with ED for the past few years. Pills don’t work for me anymore, and I don’t want to push higher doses because I have tinnitus. I have a consultation for an implant on October 23, and I’m hoping for some advice.
Question: About 10 years ago I had silicone injections for girth enhancement. Could that be a problem for the surgeon when placing an implant? Has anyone here had an IPP after prior silicone, and how did your surgeon handle it?
Thanks very much for any insight.

Hello Nick,

I had silicone oil injected for girth under the penile skin back in 2016. I gained about two inches in extra girth.

I just had my implant 4 weeks ago (Titan).

The only issue that the doctor identified was the existence of scar tissue caused by the silicone injections. That made him worry about blood flow to the area of the surgery. As a result, he is making me wait for 8 weeks before I start cycling so that the chances of the incisions healing is brought in line with a normal, unscarred penile tissue.

I hope this helps.

Woke up early the other morning and wifes ass was pressed against me. Usually we sleep a distance apart on our king size bed because she gets hot & I sleep better undisturbed too. But her butt is sexy & I decided to start humping her to turn her on. She slowly woke up & began rubbing back. Without a 2nd thought I added some pumps & had amazing 4am morning sex. I cummed in about 5 minutes lol. Usually it takes me more like 20.

This was not possible before implantation without having to kill the mood by getting up to go get medication or wait for it to kick in. So I haven't had morning sex in years. Also always had to essentially schedule sex & confirm it prior- to not waste medication, or worse, do an injection for no reason.

I'm very private & still don't pump with her involved or watching (she knows I have implant & was there for it I just don't like to talk about it) but it's not really hard to do this in private. When I know we're having sex I pump up mostly right before I go in the room so I'm just ready to go.

The other night in our hotel room I wasn't sure if we were going to do it & I felt physically meh, so I pumped a couple different times as we snuggled in bed & I deflated as I realized she didn't care if we did or not. The best part is I didn't stab my dick with a needle & then get pissed I wasted it cuz we didn't have sex. So it's also given me the ability to chill & not get upset if things don't go a certain way- on top of the peace of mind, confidence & freedom I've gotten. I'm still adjusting to some of the positives but these are some of the pretty cool extra perks I've noticed lately

Thanks for sharing!

im curious if your pump is noisy? has any woman noticed the implant so far? And do you have any palpable tubing coming out of the cylinders to the pump? Is the pump hidden behind the balls or in front?

Hey.
My pump does make some sound occasionally. I've noticed when it does honk if I let it refill by taking time between squeezes that it lessens. But yes it does sometimes make noise. Mostly it doesn't tho.
Women have noticed the pump if handling my balls but I don't really like ball play so I generally keep them away from there. I've told some about the implant by just vaguely saying I hurt myself & had to fix it or that I had a scar tissue buildup thru injury down there that it was the only way to fix. No issues when I did bring it up but not hard to hide either by just being ready when it's going down & avoiding them handling the balls.
As for my pump location it's definitely behind my balls & low. It's pretty deep behind so I have to dig in to feel any tubing coming from pump. I suppose that's good because no chance any tubing is in the way or felt.
For the pump, it is a little low. It actually pushes the ballsack down because it's lower than my testicles. When my ballsack is shriveled up the pump bulb curves even & becomes loose or mobile. I've noticed this during sex. No chance of hiding the bulb for me. I hope that my bulb being lower doesn't cause extra wear on the tubing through kinking or something.

Is your tubing too shallow or causing issues? Mine is definitely way below the base behind testicles so unable to feel it
