+1 for giving it some time. The only time my tubing is noticeable is when I'm 100% erect. Similar position at 9 and 3 but it just causes the base of my dick to be girthier. It's not really visible but I can feel it when I touch it. It presents no problem whatsoever for sex and quite possibly makes it better.
There is no effect on penis length or depth of penetration, and my wife can't feel anything abnormal during PIV sex.
Body language tells me she's enjoying sex more than ever :D.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC & nerve sparing RRP Mar 22, profound ED since. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.

I assume you were implanted penoscrotal too? Are the tubes still annoying you? Do they push back with hard penetration or do they reduce your penetrative length to some extent?
yes, penascrotal. The tubing is on either side but it does seem to push back and move if I apply pressure from the front. So far I haven't noticed an issue while having sex. My wife and I have done it a few times since being cleared and I don't think it's an issue.

I see. When were you cleared? If they push back to allow full thrust then they won't bother me so much. The left side juts out more than the right side for me.

If a partner was to put her hand around the base of my penis she would definitely feel them. Do you feel like that too?

Do you feel like they are in a vulnerable position - prone to damage? Like, if you were to do full thrust penetration all the time would it put a lot of wear and tear on those tubes?..

Do you feel like your scrotum hangs different after surgery? Is your scrotum pushed out more now?

It's annoying me. Will this settle down or is that just part and parcel of the penoscrotal tubing? I feel like it will reduce overall penetrative length. It could be very obvious to a partner too.

Hey mate. Not to scare you or anything but I was in the exact same situation and my surgeon said the only way to fix it is a revision. I’m scheduled for my second revision on 16th of December to have the tubing relocated.

Damn! How bad exactly is your tubing issue? Is it not really risky doing revisions to relocate tubing?

It reduces my penetrable length as it’s at the base of my penis and can also be easily felt by partners. My surgeon mentioned this type of revision is significantly less invasive than a replacement and a shorter operation. Praying it doesn’t lead to infection.

Jesus. How soon did you notice it after your procedure? I had my implant 2 days ago.

I was clear November the 4th and yes the pump does get in the way of my left testicle a little bit causing it to be a little more forward than it was before. It seemed really bad at first but now not quite as prominent.

I picked up on it as soon as I was cleared to touch my scrotum again. With my first implant (done through the infrapubic approach) I never felt any tubing, so after the penoscrotal surgery it was obvious that something felt off.

How exactly do they revise the position of those tubes? Is there any videos or literature online that show us? I'll probably need to have it done myself if I want to be fully satisfied with this thing.

I’m a +1 for everyone that gave the sensible advice that it’s pretty hard to tell what the long term settling of your equipment is going to be like two days after surgery.

And I’m a -1 for getting freaked out by anecdotal experiences about how tubing feels when there is no baseline you are comparing against and neither party is a doc or has examined the other or anything remotely resembling what might be sensible advice.

Most guys have some sort of detectable tubing. It rarely is something they complain about long term. I certainly can’t tell you whether you have a tubing related issue, IrishLad. But neither can anyone else here. I would rest up, recuperate, and follow up with your Uro and let them examine you rather than trying to diagnose this issue here. Odds are you’ll be just fine, but freaking out about it based on info gathered here isn’t going to help even if you do have an issue.

What is very common is some negative thoughts and “what have I done” moments in those first weeks/months. Most guys will tell you that they had at least a few of those. But the vast majority of us get over it once things settle down.

Welcome to the brotherhood, IrishLad! Even if there is an issue, you are on your way to a much better sex life. For now, rest up, you will be there soon.

Be well,
Leto
