New job and implant i would like answers

Postby jimmy42 » Mon Jun 24, 2024 3:37 am

hello, I had an implant 7 months ago. I haven't tried to carry anything heavy for a long time. I'm going to start a new job, but my job will be more heavy. This could cause some problem with the implant. I would really appreciate it if you could answer as much as anyone has similar experience.I could lift 25-30 kilos for example without fear?

I don't see that being a problem. At six weeks my doctor gave me the okay to resume weight traing
I have lifted that amount and more for 3 times a week. You can double check with your doctor but you should be good .

I don't see any issue once you're fully healed.

I just track all mine in a simple spreadsheet I update once a week with current values from each account. It keeps things clear and easy for me, no extra tools needed.

I'm not even aware that there are any restrictions concerning lifting heavy weights, once you're fully healed. I've lifted things without any concern.

Then again, my tubing recently broke, but when i went back to Dr. Eid to discuss that, he didn't say anything about lifting stuff. Rather, he mentioned that your should try not to bend the tubes pressing the pump. So: nothing related to lifting weights.
