Hey man. No I'm sorry I have not had any injections or anything. I feel like I've read about guys getting implants after those kind of injections but I'm not certain. Pretty sure I have read of guys doing it after an implant but surely someone else can be of more help. Good luck

Thanks Nick! Good luck to you on your upcoming appointment. Keep us posted on how it goes & reach out if you have any questions. This site is pretty helpful for navigating implant decisions or getting advice or lived experience suggestions.

Also I hear you on trimix injections being painful. Luckily I used bimix for awhile & didn't get an ache from that. When the compound pharmacy I used stop doing bimix & I had to switch to tri, it was completely unenjoyable for me. A constant ache & I hated it. In fact, I only tried it a handful of times & was essentially unbearable for me. Implant was my best option & no regrets. Good luck

I’m trying to read as many patient experiences as I can right now - I was recently diagnosed with venous leak and am assessing if I should go with an MPP on account of the reliability of the device / less failures, or if I should go with the IPP on account of the many obvious advantages (despite the risk stats on mechanical failure rates). Been researching off and on for about a year before my diagnosis too, so I feel like I’m pretty informed overall but now that the choice is coming up, it’s more overwhelming than I anticipated!

I’d been initially very focused on the MPP journals / patient experiences because I thought it might be a better choice given my age / potential number of revisions I’ll need throughout my lifetime. But it looks like my insurance might cover the procedure - which I wasn’t taking into account before - and it’s making me think maybe I should go for the IPP first and just see how I fare.

Needless to say, posts like yours are super helpful. Appreciate the holistic review of what’s good / not so good. I’m going to keep going reading more about the IPP over the next two weeks and then I have a virtual appointment with Dr Hakky where we’re going to discuss the implant as my next move.

If I ever have any questions about your own experience, would you mind if I sent you a PM?

Hey JohnnyBorg,
I'm just wondering if you have decided which way to go & if you've made any progress in the process yet? Hope all is well

I should also note now that since I've started taking Cialis my head engorges much better than the post implant inflated picture shows. It plumps up well enough that I can hardly locate the tips really digging in with my fingers. If I just pump it without arousal like I did in the "post implant" pic I can feel the tips by palpating with fingers. So pde5s are nice for me to have post implant.

I may take a picture to upload in the future to show difference. But it actually helps engorgement in the shaft as well. The shaft becomes more round & less oval shaped- so definitely recommend post implant Cialis to others.

Hey Jgoody, really appreciate you checking in man. My last consult was virtual with Hakky in early October, and I decided to do one more consult in early December where I’ll finalize my decision on IPP vs MPP. I’m planning on doing a detailed write up on my choice and reasoning on approach, but I’m 90% sure at this point that the MPP will be a better fit for me for a handful of reasons. Still leaving the door open for the IPP, but for me I do think the MPP makes a lot of sense.

I’ll keep the brotherhood updated!
Diagnosed with venous leak after having ED majority of my life. Grateful to have some answers, and considering both MPP and IPP as options.

Nice. Sounds like you figured out what you wanna do. I'll be interested to hear how a malleable goes for you. I'd be too scared to go that route so I see it as brave lol. Good luck & I'm sure you'll be happy bro
