Exactly. For most implantees, durability is the top priority. Other innovations are at best marginal.

The reservoir is built around the base of the cylinders so when flaccid it is stretching out the base of the corpus cavernosa. Then when inflated the base of the cylinder would be skinnier inside the stretched area. That seems like a bad idea.

And the longest size of 20cm will mean a lot of RTEs for many of us. RTEs can lead to a hinging effect.

For many guys the reservoir being placed in the abdomen through the inguinal canal is fine. If this is a problem due to a patient’s specific anatomy (known scarring in the lower abdomen for example) this might be a good trade off. Otherwise it looks like a solution looking for a problem.

The innovation I am looking for is a huge improvement in durability of the tubing.

Inflating and deflating is quick and easy. I’m not interested in complicating it with Bluetooth or batteries or electric pumps.

I want more options in sizes (more diameters). A more anatomically correct shape to the cylinders (that will result in a rounder penis, not the flatter oval). Most importantly I want bulletproof reliability. I want tubing that WILL NOT EVER break.
31 yrs old. ED from since puberty due to venous leak. Pills worked for 7-8 years and then stopped. Skipped injections, got implanted on 3.11.2023 with Titan Genesis pump 20cm+1.5cm RTEs by Dr. Levine.

I have just had a revision done this week for a Rigicon implant. (Issue with tubing).

Whilst speaking to a Rigicon rep about my circumstances I took the opportunity to ask about the new 2 piece implant.
Long story short, the 3 piece implant is still considered the ‘Rolls Royce’ option.

My understanding is that the 2 piece will be targeting men who would have some sort of medical issue or problem with having a reservoir placed in their body.
66 years old. On 21 July 2025 implanted with Rigicon Infla10. Length 24cm, Volume 110ml, 1cm Extenders
Leak in tube from pump to cylinder at 12 weeks.
Revision made on 11 November 2026. Everything replaced except reservoir.
