Day 8 - Where did my little friend go?

Hi All:

Haven't posted in several days. I've been in a lot of discomfort. I am icing, icing, icing. I'm wearing Sepratec underwear and a baby sock on my dick. My balls are still oversized and really really tender near the taint, where the pump is hanging out. Everyday is a little better, but I am still very bruised and very swollen.

My surgeon told me, and I saw the card that was given to me to carry when I travel, that I was implanted with an AMS 700 LGX 15cm. The surgeon also told me that I had a 2cm RTE. My fat pad is grossly swollen and purple, so all I can really see is about a 2 inch penis. I was not semi-inflated at all. My surgeon prefers to let it hang. I spoke with a couple of his referrals and they seemed fine with it. While I assume I'll be able to see a lot more of it when the swelling subsides, it's a little disheartening at the moment.

Yes, many of you on here have shared with me that this is temporary and to be patient, that I'll now be a shower rather than a grower. Right now, I can't see that and it's got me a little more than down. I've survived so much in my life...heart disease, cancer 3 TIMES (including Stage 4 twice). I have ZERO to be down about. But...this is my DICK we're talking about.

So, these are my thoughts heading into Day 9. I see my urology surgeon on 11/19, so I'll keep you all posted on my journey. While I am grateful to be healthy and alive...I TRULY am...I've got a bit of the small dick downers at the moment.

I know it's disheartening. But think about it this way: For all the other health issues that you went through, there was no payoff except you got to keep breathing. For this one, you're enduring it all for a reason -- when it's all done, you'll have a dick that never sleeps unless you want it to. A superpower many men would kill for. Keep your eye on the prize, and know that this is just a moment in time and better days are coming.

Give it some time. The swelling needs to go down and hopefully with the lgx and cycling in the future you will at least be at the size when you first started. I know how you feel though. I have the cx and I was measuring just over 5 inches prior to surgery. Now I am at 4 1/2 after two weeks of cycling. I am hoping to get back to at least 5 inches.

You just be a little patient, from what I’ve read as long as your head isn’t wobbly you should have been sized correctly. Someone chime in if I’m wrong.

I am in the average category, when I took the bandage off I was overwhelmed with aflood of emotions. The swelling was bad enough that I thought I lost half my pecker. Now he walks around the house crowing like a proud rooster.
He is actually pretty handsome and my wife is ecstatic.

Vincent if deflated you are 2inches, most likely inflated you will get around 4.5 inches

If 4.5 was not your pre-op erect length most likely you were undersized: you will need to change doctor and ask if they csn remove and install a bigger implant

Don't worry, I went through all this, I'm almost on week 6 now.
I also saw a huge size reduction post op which had me worried.
I started cycling on week 3 and the first time I saw it fully inflated, I was like "WTF?".. just make sure you cycle lots and aggressively, you will see your dick grow, slowly and surely.
In just 3 short weeks I'm only about 2cm short of my pre implant size. The angle's still abit off but definitely can't complain. I can tell I'll be back to my old size in a few months.

It usually takes a few months to get back to your pre implant size. Try not to stress,there are lots of amazing people on this site that will give you amazing advice.

Yes hang in there Vincent. With cycling and continued healing there's a high chance you'll get back your original size or close.
Like others I was also quite shocked at my immediate post op results, as I was definitely smaller at that point.
I had read a lot on FT and so had expected it to a degree but it's still confronting when it happens.
After I started cycling at 6 weeks it didn't take all that long to reclaim most of my lost size.
Now at 8 months I'm back to pre ED proportions, maybe very slightly more, and definitely a shower, which is a bonus.
