Glad you're out of surgery and things are progressing well. Please let us know how it goes as your recovery progresses. The first day or two is usually pretty mild, but the pain will kick in at some point. Just be prepared and we're here for you!

Hi guys, and thanks elbow. First night was better than expected, slept 5-6 hours no pain. This morning catheter removal never funny, tok some time to get it out.But everything looked good and smooth. Got visit from my better halv, she was surprised when she saw the bulge under my gaun, I said dont get carried away its the bandage darlig :D
Dr. gave me the feedback from the surgery, implant size 22x11 or 12. 1cm rte, on monday I will have the exact numbers, the biggest surprise was that he could install everything just trough the scrotum, no penoscrotal. Somebody else who has had this procedure. Anyhow one scar less to heal. Have a great weekend.

After a decent night sleep its time to leave the hospital, now the challange begins, have an airbnb closed by, with frozen peas waiting. Ice ice baby, greatfully I am not alone, can not emagine how you can manage all by yourselv. Pain is kicking inn and until now no bovel movement. Peeing burns and its a mess with the bandage. Cut off top of plasticbottle to use as container. Bovel movement will be another obsticle to overcome. Any ideas are welcome. Monday Dr. appointment to remove bandage and get the first look on the outcome.
Enjoy the WE.

Congrats, mon frère!

Rest up, you’ll be better in no time.
50. Implanted 5/21/2024 at Kaiser SSF. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

For bowel movements: Fiber, fiber, fiber and at least 50 oz of water/day. I was released from the hospital on Wednesday. I've had a lot of greens, replace animal proteins with beans, legumes and grains such as quinoa and legumes. Fibrous fruit. My BM's were back to normal within 36 hrs.

For the burning while peeing: That may just be the irritation from the catheter...keep drinking water. It should stop within a day.
