Thanks LGX that does help heaps knowing the pain is not forever,

The doctor said everything looked perfect and he was really happy! I showed him the vein thing at the base, he said its tiny tendon flaring up as i got my implant done intrapubic so he said once the swelling goes down and the wound completely heals that should lift off some pressure on that tendon/ligament

I was able to inflate and deflate for the first time also thats alot of the pain im feeling now

Thanks for that Valdo! Yeah thays the one, first day cycling now its probably the most pain i have felt in the process, i can pump it up and deflate it but im in pain for the rest of the day

Good to hear that it's nothing to worry about Robbie. Keep pushing through the cycling. Take a break if you need to but try and maintain a regular daily schedule as far as possible. We all know it hurts at first but it won't in the long run. Definitely a no pain no gain situation .

p.s. I also endorse Handyman's moisturizer idea, but do check with your surgeon first. I'm still applying it on both shaft and glans after every cycling session. I'm using Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Antiseptic Cream, which is soothing and also has mild anaesthetic properties (from Chemist Warehouse etc for those in Oz). I would keep it away from any stitches that are not completely healed though.

I am at day 5.
The doctor has me at 30% inflated. He is making me wear a very tight jock strap to support my balls.

The problem is that my penis feels very hard, even at 30%. And, keeping it pointing up in jock strap is causing me no insignificant amount of ache at the base of my penis.

I try to walk every evening to keep my level of fitness at a reasonable level. The whole hour I am walking, I am bitching and moaning about the ache.

And, if I try to bend it a little close to the glans, that also hurts.

I suppose it is a traumatic experience we went through and we need to give ourselves a lot of time to let things settle and heal. Wow, wisdom. I hate it.

5th week update!!!

Hey guys hope everyone is well, its been 5 weeks and 2 days post op and thought id share where im at.

I started cycling exactly 4 weeks post op so is been 1 week and 2 days of torture id say so far im cycling 2 times a day and the time varies, same days its for 10 minutes at a time and others i can hit a max of 30/40 minutes. I dont feel no where near ready for intercourse or even masturbation as the pain both flaccid and erect is around 7 sometimes 8 out 10. It makes me anxious some days that this pain wont go away ever, i have noticed the pain fluctuates alot but the last 3 days i have longer periods during the day that are some what pain free (flaccid) and sometimes i can cycle for up to 10 minutes with no pain at all (erect).

Some of the areas that are painful are,

The hand/glands when hurting the scale for me is around 8/10 both erect and flaccid

The shaft is improving in the flaccid state but the erect state is around 6 sometimes 7/10

Testicles a very very slight ache probably around 1/10

Pump has the most improvement in terms of pressure of cycling the last 3 days i have no real pain when inflating or deflating the pump so 0/10



Would love to hear what you guys were feeling around the 5 week mark and if it is of similar circumstance hahaha.

Week 6

Hey guys 6 weeks post op.

This week i have been able to get myself off and thank god i did, i dont think i could of gone another week even though that is great i am no where near ready for intercourse as i wouldnt be able to pump myself up enough for sex as its still way too painful

No noticable changes from last week but pain in the following areas are still presebt and bloody persistant, i am currently cycling between 10 and 50 minutes, i have taken a break thr last couple of days just to settle down the pain.

Sorry for the delay. But I started having those "pulsing pains" a couple of times in the last few days. kind of sharp, come and go in like 5-10 second intervals. Lasted less than a minute. Not unmanageable, but a little uncomfortable.
