Grower/Shower

Postby vincentarpino » Sun Nov 02, 2025 12:44 am

Hi All:

Implant Tuesday is fast approaching. And I have a question question. I have always been a grower not a shower. Over the past year that I have been on here I've read a lot of posts and comments from men who've gone from growers to showers after IPP.

I have imagined this makes sense given that two cylinders are being placed in there. Has this been your experience?

How many of you are now showers post-op.

I suppose I'm starting to get a bit anxious and this is one of the things causing me agita. I would much prefer to be a shower.

Thank you all for this great board!

So,
I started cycling prior to my actually training which is Nov. 4. I have to admit when I am completely deflated ( or at least I think I am it almost seems semi erect except that it doesn't stick straight out it lays down instead. Not sure if I've gotten it right just yet but just my observation so far. I'll find out more on Tuesday as I have a lot of questions for my urologist.

All of us are.

You had the right idea: once you have the cylinders in there, your flaccid length is pretty close to your erect length.

It was definitely one of the odd/cool/different things at first. That, combined with some residual swelling, really made me feel like I had a big honkin’ dick.

After a while you get used to it.

Good luck on Tuesday! You’ll be fine, and once you heal up you will love your new dick.

Legoland, thank you!

Now...if I could just recall what my erect size was... :D

I've been VEDing it for quite some time now in preparation. My Dr. said I can expect my erect size to be what I can see in tube. Which is just about 7 1/4 inches overall and about 6 1/2 inches I can see.

Vincent
Depending on what type implant yo receive. The Lgx more closely mimics a natural penis, ie there is more noticeable shrinkage with the Lgx, but yes you will still be a shower after your implant surgery even with a Lgx.
Good luck, ice, follow dr orders, and check your expectations. Enjoy the next year becoming “ one” with your new dick.

Vincent, I was always a grower but definitely very much a shower post implant.
It seems to be a very common outcome and I've rarely read of anyone who hasn't increased their flaccid size.
Not the primary purpose of an implant but it's a nice bonus! :)
Best wishes for your surgery, it's an exciting time. I'm sure you will be fine and enjoy your new weapon once healed.

I was a grower but not anymore. True that your new deflated length will be close to your pumped up length. I'm getting used to the new me and don't have any problems with it.

Good luck!

Prepare to be a shower. Depending on your size this can be a plus or a minus. I’d say the larger you are the less helpful it is to “show”. I’m pretty big and as I recover I find myself wondering how this thing is going to stay reasonable hidden at work. But yeah, you’ll have to accommodate a new paradigm. :D

After IPP surgery you will be a shower. Took me close to a year to finally get comfortable with it. Drawback is clothing choices make you think about what you're showing. In underwear my bulge is definitely prominent, although I like the looks the wife gives me when I walk around in just my boxer briefs. Had to buy a swimsuit with inner spandex netting. My old suit clung to me like a second skin, no guessing what was underneath. Jeans hide it pretty well.
Best of luck!
