I have my implant 9 years now. I have traveled to several countries on two continents and across the US several times. Yesterday in Salt Lake City International Airport they stopped me at TSA check. They (the TSA agent and a Supervisor) patted me down two times back hand and front. I told them I have an implant but they didn't seem to care. They then took me into a private room and asked me to drop my pants and underwear. They check the pump and said ok.
This was the first for me.

huh. I fly out of SLC frequently and have never given it a second thought. Either something has changed with their capabilities, protocols, or your specific implant is different than most..... or this didn't really happen. I doubt there's a difference between regular and pre-check, but I only use pre-check.
2/22/23 AMS 700 CX 21cm + 1.5cm RTEs. was 58 yrs old, wife of 37 yrs. Penoscrotal. 100ml Conceal reservoir. Dr. Clavell. Pills failing and went right to implant. 2+ yrs post op: 7 3/4" x 5 7/8", now 60yrs old in 2025

I think when I said, "do what ever you want" was probably a mistake. My husband was sitting on the bench watching. They should not have touched me in public, however I did not resist. I told them " do what every want"

Yes, they checked the pump to see if it was really what I said it was. I pumped it up a few times.
