Re: NHS Implant
I have been accepted onto the waiting list and have been told it will be apx 6 months for an appointment and then another 6-9 months until surgery. The admin team were very helpful in their estimates!
I’m trying to work out how to get the ££ together to go privately.

Total pelvic exontoration (radical cancer surgery) in April. No prostate, penile bulb, bladder or anus but I do have two stomas (colostomy and urostomy). Considering implant to bring my cock back to life.

Wow you really have been through it glad to hear your looking forward and I hope you get what you want
My experience of the admin staff is a bit different they could not give me any time frame for even the next appointment the surgeon said 9 months probably nearer a year but that's after the next appointment so l just feel like it's not moving forward

Re: NHS Implant
Hi,
I got mine at UCLH, I guess I was quite lucky, from consultation with the nurse choosing the implant it was about 3-4 weeks.
Best of luck mate.
However from GP -Urology- to UCLH took about 4 years. So if you've been given the go ahead for the implant then you're at the end.
I know waiting sucks, but I've read so many threads about people taking loans out and getting it done, so we got to be grateful for the NHS.

Hi,
What hospital is this?
I had my first appointment at UCLH which was a sleep study in April.
Had the follow up appointment in June where they agreed for me to have an implant.
Chose implant in early Sep and she told me it might take 6 months but then went on to have the surgery at the start of Oct (this month).
I didn't need to, but you should call every 3-4 weeks checking if there's a cancellation.
Best of luck!!

That's strange, they usually show you the implants once it's decided to go ahead with one.
But yes for me, I had tried everything, cbt, trt, pills, creams, injections and then implants.
