Good morning All:
IPP is now nine days away! So, question about underwear. I've done all of the research, read all of the posts on here. I have already ordered and received my Sepratec order and classic jock strap, which I will cut a slit in, as suggested by so many of you.
Today I saw these "elephant trunks." They seem as if they would accomplish the goal during the first six weeks. But, I don't believe I've seen any posts on here about them. Have you tried them? What are your thoughts on them?
I've attached a pic.

Re: Elephant Trunks?
I think they will be very tight and constrictive around your swollen penis and scrotum during the first 2-3 weeks.
66 years old. Long term progressive ED. Pills and injections no longer the solution.

Re: Elephant Trunks?
The first 6 weeks I was told to keep my penis pointing up. These wouldn’t help with that.
And my glans was pretty sensitive. Putting a babysock over my penis completely took care of that. It’s possible these trunks would have a similar result but I think it would be painful to try to stuff my penis in the “elephant trunk” part of these. It was very easy to stretch the opening of a baby sock and gently glide it onto my penis.
These wouldn’t be my choice for post op.
I found a jockstrap with a horizontal slit cut in the top of the pouch, just under the waistband worked well to keep me supported and pointing up, but not crushing the glans.
The baby sock helped with glans sensitivity. For the first few days I found a gauze pad behind/under my balls felt better. And a pair of boxer briefs over all of it so I wasnt bare assed.

I agree, a baby sock would be more comfortable.

Re: Elephant Trunks?
Just looking at those is painful thinking about my first few weeks. Pass. Do as discussed with the baby sock and jock strap with a slit. That works great and is not too uncomfortable. I used bamboo boxers - put the dick through the fly hole, put on the baby sock, then put the jockstrap over the underware. That didn't really give me any problems for the first 5-6 weeks until I could stop with the jockstrap. Even went to court in a full 3-piece suit wearing that setup with no problems.

I had already purchased David Archy pocket briefs, but Dr. Hakky recommended the elephant trunks to me.

If Hakky recommended them, maybe there's something I'm not aware of. I guess they might work better then they look like they would on first glance. I'd be interested to know from a user how comfortable they are immediately after surgery.

How in the hell would you fit that thing in there. I bought a pair, I am average size, and there is not much extra room.
This I have to see and I would have to show that to my wife.

Ha, I didn’t get them because I had already bought a different brand. Doesn’t the “tube” stretch ?

Re: Elephant Trunks?
I haven’t tried to stretch. I wouldn’t want to stretch anything on a freshly implanted dick though.
I just tried them on briefly, wife hasn’t even seen them yet. Our date nights have been busy, I’ll wait till they slow down then wear them. Maybe a strip pool night. The ones I wore for her last night sent her into an evening of drooling, she is still talking about them.
What’s that saying? Oh, wished I would have done it sooner.
