Hello kings
I’m 27, gay, and dealing with PSSD. In short: I took antidepressants for about a year, and they left me with erectile dysfunction. Even after stopping them, the ED hasn’t completely gone away. Without Cialis I can get maybe 40% hard, and with it, around 60%. Given my age, that’s incredibly frustrating — and even though I had recovered from depression, this situation is honestly pulling me back down.
I haven’t decided to go for a penile implant yet — there are still several other things I want to try before getting to that point. But I don’t see any harm in gathering some information in the meantime.
I’ve been reading about the inflatable implants: they sound great in terms of function, but I really dislike the idea of having to replace them every 10-15 years and having to pump them manually through the scrotum. I’ve seen videos, and to me it just looks… unnatural. If I hook up with someone, they’d immediately notice me “activating” something down there, and that’s exactly what I want to avoid. Before antidepressants, I used to be a fuckboy — I enjoyed casual encounters and didn’t have a fixed partner. Honestly, I’d love to go back to that lifestyle. But it would feel awkward if I had to pump my dick up every time I met someone new. I mean, how weird would that look? I’d quickly become “the guy with a pump in his dick” in my town.
If I ever decide to go for an implant, I think I’d prefer the malleable one — it just seems more discreet.
So here are my questions:
1️⃣ How discreet is the malleable implant? Would someone notice right away that there’s something artificial inside, or could it just look like I get hard easily?
2️⃣ How much length or girth would I lose? I used to be a grower — less than 3 inches soft, 6 inches hard (I know, I’m not a porn star).
3️⃣ This is the most important question. How HARD does a malleable implant actually get? It’s described as “semi-rigid,” but what does that mean in practice? When it’s positioned up, is it still somewhat soft? On a scale from 1 to 10, how hard would you say it is?
4️⃣ If I’m not satisfied, can I switch later to an inflatable implant?
5️⃣ This might sound weird, but where can I find photos or videos showing how the malleable one looks or works? Is there anyone who would be comfortable sharing that?
6️⃣ Finally, is there anything else important I should know before considering a malleable implant?
Thanks, kings

Re: Questions about the MALLEABLE implant (M 27)
The question about hardness is particularly important to me. Keep in mind that I’m gay and anal penetration requires more rigidity than vaginal sex.

Since don't have one i can't answer to all your question, but:
2 usually one cm in lenght and girth it's dependent if you still have some natural engorgement or not
3 tactra and rigicon very hard, but it also depends by the lenght of your penis, if it's very long it may be a bit unstable, usually anal still possible tho
4 of course
5 use the search function of this websites and you will find alot
6 yes, the surgeon. Skills and expertise are the most important thing is this kind of surgeries. Do you already have chosen one?
Hard flaccid syndrome since 2019. Trying to get better with conservative treatments but an implant is on my radar

I will try answering some questions. I received my Coroplast malleable June 19 of this year.
Question 1. Initially it was very noticeable. After 4 months it is easy enough to hide l. I'm probably never going to wear a speedo to the beach, but in a pair and of jeans it is hardly noticeable.
Question 2. Everyone experience diffent results. Myself, I retained my length, but lost a lot of girth. I would guess I lost about 1/4th of my girth. I never measured it be the surgery, but visually it look much skinnier.
Question 3. Mine is probably stiffer than my original equipment. Particularly in compression. It does not look hugely to inflated, but t I feel that the surgeon undersized me.
Question 4. I believe you can switch to a 3 piece later, but talk with your surgeon.
Question 5. A guy posted some me pics and videos here a few months ago. I'm someone will link no them for you.
Question 6. I think you should look into some of the alternative treatments first as you are very young.
Hope this helps.

Me again,
I found a video link. It's not on English but it shows what you might get.

That’s very kind of you — it was really helpful. The implant doesn’t look bad at all! It’s not rock hard, but it seems like at least a 7.5/10 in terms of firmness. I just wish I could feel it myself to really know what it’s like. Thanks again!

Thank you! Really appreciate. My dick is 3 inches soft (or even less) and 6 inches hard. I’m definitely a grower so I guess it means I would not how big it gets until I get the surgery

Re: Questions about the MALLEABLE implant (M 27)
If you haven’t already, search the Show & Tell post in the implant section for the name of your city or state or country. Being able to actually see and feel the implant and get questions answered is really useful.
See both malleable and inflatable implants if you can.
There is a second Show & Tell thread in the Gay Men and ED section. The very first post in that thread discusses some of the concerns you have shared.
I’ve sent you a PM.

Who told you this? Be carefull that in Italy (assuming you live there) high volume surgeons aren't a lot. So chose wisely. If you penis is 6 inches erect it should remain 6 inches (minus 1 cm if you choose malleable)
