Alright, so yesterday I had my consultation with Dr. Ronald Anglade. I’ve got a couple of questions for you guys. He mentioned that after the implant surgery, my erection is going to point straight forward but right now, my natural erection goes upward. So I wanted to hear from others who had the same experience.
He also said that after surgery I’ll need to pull the pump down regularly to keep it in the correct position. For those who’ve gone through this was that uncomfortable or hard to do in the beginning ..I m really scared specially for the pump pulling cause my balls are very sensitive..and ofc the erection look..I appreciate any comments, experience or opinions..

Titan guys erection angle + pump positioning question
51 years old, struggling with ED for around 20 years.
Pills no longer work for me. Trimix helps but injections are tough and painful.
Implant consultation coming up (Oct ‘23).

Trust your surgeon. If he says you are going to point straight out, you are probably going to point straight out.
Most of us implanted guys do.
I have a slight upwards angle, 2:00 when I’m maxed out.
If you search for your surgeons name you’ll find a post from 2017 by Greg1956. He posted pics, including inflated and he points straight out.
Once you get implanted your cock isn’t going to look exactly the way it does now. The angle will be slightly different. The shape will be slightly different. But it will be as hard as you want, for as long as you want, whenever you want. It will be the new you. And it will look normal. No one is going to see your penis and think anything is odd about it. It will become the new norm for you.

Thank you so much for your response really appreciate you taking the time to explain it. Makes a lot more sense now. I’ll trust what Dr. Anglade told me.
To be honest, I did get a bit scared yesterday right after the consultation, just trying to imagine the changes… but hearing from guys like you gives me more peace of mind.
I’m feeling more positive now and ready to move forward. Thanks again it really helps.

Re: Titan guys erection angle + pump positioning question
My surgeon, Dr. Hakky, said that getting an upward angle with an implant is unlikely, at least with the Titan. The saline weighs more than the spongy tissue it replaced, and the weight of the cylinders works against you too. If you have a large implant as I do, you’re likely to get a slight downward angle.
Not ideal, but look on the bright side…it’s a great setup for reverse cowgirl…

Thanks a lot for sharing that really appreciate your time and the detail you gave me. My next consultation is actually with Dr. Tariq Hakky, so it’s very helpful to hear your experience. After that one I’ll decide which surgeon to go with.
Thanks again this really helps.

Re: Titan guys erection angle + pump positioning question
Nick74, before ED my angle was about 2:00, but post-op I've been 4:00. I don't know if the change was caused by ED, or the weight of the implant, or the effect of age -- or some combination of those. However, now everything works great at any angle between 2:00 and 4:00. Awhile back I did some searches and below is what I found about average angles at different ages.
Angle / Age
1:00-2:00 / teens, 20's, 30's
2:00-3:00 / 30's, 40's, 50's
3:00-4:00 / 40's, 50's, 60's
4:00-5:00 / 50's, 60's, 70's+
Gravity wins ?

Re: Titan guys erection angle + pump positioning question
The following items contribute towards erection angle in my opinion:
1) Strength of suspensory ligaments. This ligament may become looser as people age.
2) the weight of the distal portion of the implant (saline+weight of the cylinders). Somehow a normal blood filled physiological erection probably creates less distal weight. Don't know how or why
3) how far deep the proximal portion goes (someone with a shallow crus and very long phallus will have more hang)

55 years. Using bimix 0.4 units. Works well but inconsistent and very inconvenient. Seriously considering an implant. 6.4 inches bone pressed length to tip, 5 inches girth base, 4.5 inches girth mid-shaft.

Re: Titan guys erection angle + pump positioning question
I heard Perito in one of his videos explain that the angle of the back portion of your implant(crux) determines the angle of your shaft. The Dr can’t change what you already have. Of course the weight might pull it down some. Mine was always around 2:30-3 when hard and standing now it is the same but if I lay down it goes to about 1:30-2. Again weight of the fluid filled tends to pull it down. Either way it’s very similar to what I had previous to implant as will everyone else, save scar tissue pulling an angle in it.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast with Classic pump 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong
