Postby Robbie96 » Sat Oct 25, 2025 7:31 am

Hey Guys,

I have just started cycling three days in, im just after some specific advice on things

1. How many times do you cycle and whats your routune?

2. I have been in pain when i start walking or go to work i get really bad aches throughout my dick what do you do for relief?

3. Will this pain ever go away? Im worried that its always going to be this sore because at the moment it seems so far away to have any sort of sex?

4. When i cycle is there any additional things i should be doing can i move my penis around to stretch it abit?

5. Is there any advice you csn give me regarding cycling

Being that you are back to work just fit in when you can.
Wear baggy pants when you have to wear pants. At home I would wear my wife’s tube top, kind of like a skirt. Yah, it’s hideous, but so what.
Shoot for three times a day.
At this point you are more than likely in some pretty good pain when cycling, heat pads help a lot, warm baths, and ice. Cycle till it’s unbearable. Release just a little pressure and pump it till it’s just under the extreme threshold and leave it for as long as you can.
If you are a glutton for punishment cycle till maxed then put a heat pads help over your penis. The heat seems to make fluid expand and it will get brutal.

You are a month in, many of us started sex at three weeks, I advise going slow for the next few weeks then up it as your healing process allows, then it will be whatever comfort level your partner allows.

It’s going to be an erratic process as everything changes almost daily for a while.

Another thing I did was I massaged my glans every chance I could to get it use to the implant as that implant will be putting pressure on it when you start inserting it.

Happy Days Ahead

I cycle at least twice a day for usually 15 minutes each time. I also try and have a longer session on as many days as I can find time for it. I'm no longer working and have more flexibility to do that. I aim for one hour, but in practise it varies from 30 minutes to an hour. On the days I have sex I count that as a long cycling session, as it's going to be for an hour or more anyway (I don't know if that's cheating ).

Early in recovery that seems pretty common. I had an aching pain in the shaft of my dick like that on and off for quite a while, but I only ever used paracetamol for pain relief.

Yes it will go away, but it takes time and everyone is different. I was cleared for sex at 6 weeks but no way could I have done it then. Way too painful. Even at 8 weeks I found sex very uncomfortable. Having sex didn't start to feel OK until around 10 weeks and even then it was a mix of pleasure and pain. Probably around 12 weeks before it became mostly pleasurable. YMMV.

Robbie96 wrote:4. When i cycle is there any additional things i should be doing can i move my penis around to stretch it abit?

To help stretch the penile tissues and regain original size, from 6 weeks post op my surgeon started me doing a modified version of the Perito "The Exercise". It involves bending the erect penis as far as possible to each of N, S, E, W and holding it there for about 20-30 seconds at each position. I do that 2 or 3 times each cycling session. He also told me to focus mainly on the downward (south) position. I also pump the implant up a bit more after each time to maximise the stretch. Early in my recovery it hurt to do it but I pushed through it and now it's no problem.
But check with your own doc first as they all seem to have different approaches.

5. Is there any advice you csn give me regarding cycling

If possible warm up your dick and scrotum as much as possible before starting. A hot shower or bath is good.

I was able to start cycling at 4 Weeks. My surgeon told me pump it until it hurts some and hold it at that level for as long as you can. He said 1-2 times a day, as much pain as you can tolerate, but don’t feel that you have to push the pain limits hard. The first week was not great fun, but by the second week I could pump up and have a decent erection without pain! That lead obviously to getting myself off, (and of course having s3x with my girlfriend) and after that, I would pump more into it until it hurts, and held it for as long as I could. At this point cycling became a task with great pleasure and just a little pain, with a cock that was gaining in size each week! I am 6 1/2 months post op now and believe my penis is back to its original size, perhaps a little more? I know some people swear by the Perito cycling, but I didn’t need that level of aggressiveness to get to where I am.
66 years old. Long term progressive ED. Pills and injections no longer the solution.
