[quote="goose1235"]Newly implanted a week ago, but I seem to have visible bumps at the base of the penis on either side which effectively shortens its useable length slightly. It’s hard right where the scrotum meets the shaft as well. Does anyone know if this will move into a better place? It’s very hard right there and I cant imagine it being comfortable to a partner when it smacks them.[/qu

Was the operation scrotal or infra pubic? Infra pubic t with a pre connected kit there will be tubing at the base of your penis.

Yes it’s hard but a total non issue. You’re only a week out so don’t worry about it yet. Nothing to do about anything right now but heal up and get used to it. Surely you have a follow up w Dr soon so discus then. Sounds normal for one week out.

Penoscrotal. I feel tubing on both sides, though one aide may just be bumpy dog ears? I have ams CX. I have this snakelike tubing that coils once at base of my penis on the left side that spans about 1 to 2 cm. That doesn’t seem tight to me. It it were tight it would be a non issue. Quite worried about it.

This is what I look like on my back three weeks after surgery. The circled area is where I can feel the hard tubing. A little bit of the bump is swelling but the tubing feels very noticeable.

After some digging on old posts, there will be tubing at the base and scrotum for the penoscrotal approach. It will be like a “ring” around the base as the tubes wrap from the crus down into the sack. The tubing on the sides are unlikely to be felt or impede on penetration because of how a partner’s body interacts with yours. But it is def noticeable by hand, as is the pump. Def not hideable to a partner in the long term. As for the tubing at the base, I’m not sure what issue it will pose yet. I just hope things loosen up or soften so it can be pulled down or adjusted with ease. The tubing at the base for me is a bit too high for my liking and seems any use of a cockring for glans engorgement will be impossible without also losing penetrative length.

goose1235, what do you mean by "blocks part of the shaft" ? My tubing connected to the top of the pump rests against the left side of the base of my shaft when flaccid. When inflating, as the shaft rises, the tubing and top of pump sits below the shaft not touching. This is easy to feel, but isn't visible. For several weeks post-op everything was swollen and could barely be moved around.

goose1235 wrote:Thanks, I think my primary issue is the tubing in my scrotum runs high up and blocks part of the shaft. Were you able to move this part away and did it settle down as it healed? I can see this bump on my back even through the scrotum.

Did you also have prominent tubing at base/sides of shaft that softened and settled down? The tubing in my scrotum blocks a part of my shaft currently and I can see it when I’m on my back
