Anyone take Cialis post implant?

Postby Jgoody » Fri Oct 17, 2025 8:36 pm

Hey fellas. I went to my pharmacy to pick up a sleeping med prescription & shockingly had a 90 pill script for 5mg Cialis so I took it. A few months ago I tried levitra when having sex and loved the extra engorgement/sensation I had. I ran out of those few weeks ago so this was awesome because it's not easy to get a urology appointment.

Anyways I'm wondering if anyone on 5mg Cialis post implant can share how they use it. I believe that is a daily dose but I wonder if just waiting until you know you are having sex & taking 2 then would be be more efficient or just 1 daily? Really just wondering what works for those that take it after their implant. Thanks in advance

I was already on daily Tadalafil (Cialis) in the last couple years of taking shots, 10mg a day.

My implant surgeon (Dr Eid) recommended I continue it. I take it every morning.

It definitely helps me have more (and better) nocturnal erections/morning wood, and engorgement when I’m turned on.

I do, occasionally, but I think I probably should regularly. Feels good, and apparently it's got longevity benefits both for the implant and for your heart and brain.

Would it cause any harm if I start using it after the 3rd week of surgery? Please, I’d like to hear comments from those who have experienced it.

I have been on 5mg daily for the last several years after getting stents. I stopped a week before implant and started back up the day after. If anything, it is good for circulation according to my cardiologist.

Same with me. I was using and abusing cialis prior to implant but now after implant I still use 5mg daily and usually 10mg on days I’ll have sex. Some days I skip but never miss on sex days. I definitely get a little morning chubby and can get a rushing feeling when turned on a lot better when using it. With generic being so cheep I’ll continue using it. I do buy the 20mg and 1/4 them as it’s much cheeper this way and if I’m off by a mg or 2 it don’t make any difference.

Jgoody and slckgg, same as others above, I've been taking 5mg daily for years and resumed taking it right after the surgery.

Regarding seeing the Uro, can't you just call office for refill? Or failing that use an online service? The generics are super cheap
Believe post prostate surgery I was around 5 inches down from 6. Never measured girth but post titan otr 20 cm seems thicker.

Been a long time lurker, decided to reply to this. I take 10MG daily, it relieved some urinary issues and certainly helps in other respects as well. This was actually recommended by my urologist post op. I was implanted 5 May 2025 and am absolutely ecstatic with the results. I was a hard 10 years that lead up to this (pun intended)

Nice, thanks for all the input guys. I'm gonna try out 5mg/day & see how that is. Maybe take a 2nd one before I know I'm getting it. I think I used to take 20 mg of it back when it kinda worked. For some reason Cialis I had the least success with especially later. It got to the point where only vardenifil worked to get a full on hard erection, before I had to go to injections. I'm curious about developing tolerance, but the little research I did says there's not really any indication of that.

And congrats on your surgery svenstauber & welcome to the board, officially. I'm happy with my outcome too.

Completely unrelated but wondering if anyone heard from mark1974 (I think was his name) last I heard he got explanted
