I got my implant 5 weeks ago and since 2 days I could reach my deflate button and started cycling. Of course I am still a bit excited and cautious and the 2 times I pumped it up all the way I ended up with 15cm length.
Before my surgery I had almost 20, so this is rather frustrating and my doctor told me this, which is a bit disturbing for me and maybe some guys with Coloplast Titan will have answers for me!?
The implant has a set size, unless the implant is changed with a different one, it's size wont change. Think of it as a physical object. Some types of implants are able to be pumped more than their actual size and with use it increases the size of the penis in a year or so because it stretches but those are softer implants. The most rigid and functional implant in the market is coloplast titan and it's the best with sexually active patients in my opinion, it only extends by girth not by length. We always put the maximum size that can be put in a patient so your total size of the entire anatomical structure is 25cm, if your tissues stretch it will gain girth but not length.
So what he is saying is that the length will not change anymore from this point? I got 22cm implant and 3cm extenders, so that would mean that 10cm are inside and 15cm outside (cock)?
Thanks so much,
Andi
First off, I wonder why your surgeon used a 22cm Titan with 3cm RTE's. Titans come in 2cm increments so I'm surprised he didn't go with a 24cm Titan XL with 1cm RTE's instead.
2nd, your Dr is right that the length of the Titan is its length. However, the experience of MANY here, including myself, is that over the course of time, healing, and aggressive cycling, it is possible, and highly likely, that your final size will be bigger than the first few months post-op. I think the reason is that often swelling around the pubic bone/area, if any, will reduce over time which will increase your bone pressed measurement. Also, the cylinders do in fact stretch and your tissue and capsule around it will stretch and grow some because of the cycling. As my pump and cylinders softened up over time, I was able to pump more and more and my length and girth increased. My now (8 month post-op) pumped up length is in fact longer than my flaccid length, though not by a lot - I am in fact a show-er now. And, I'm back at my pre-op size. My Dr told me to get to your max size you really have to pump to max (I have been using 2 hands to max pump), then pump some more if possible after a little while and fight through any pain. No pain, no gain he said. BTW, I have a Classic not a OT pump, but results should be similar.
That being said, everyone is different and results vary. Some come out smaller, some larger, but it seems most are pretty close to pre-op size after cycling consistently as instructed. Assuming the surgeon has sized aggressively/appropriately.
