We're all 3 the same age. Ya mines over a yr old & fully flaccid to pumped up gains an inch in length & about that in girth too. So once you're cycling I bet you're right back where you were. Honestly could come out even longer as I've read of that happening to some. Either way your willy is going to work at will, regardless of circumstances, which is the best part. Keep marching forward!

Longer answer

After 4 years of pills, injections,CBT, TRT, I was referred last year July from Urology to UCLH, after a long wait, I chased it up in Feb this year. They gave me an overnight sleep study for a rigiscan device, they put a device on your penis and it measures how many erections you've had overnight and how hard they were.

Did you have any luck at all with the pills and injections?. I'm asking because I'm the same age and really thinking about getting an implant next year

Hi, all it pretty much stopped working with invicorp only working sometimes, factor in it had to be refrigerated. Beside it not working all the time it was inconvenience to.

So in the end went for this.

I'm still in the early healing stages so not in a position to tell you a lot about it.

Hi mate,

Best of luck— it sucks at first, and it still does for me right now, but I promise it gradually gets better.

I'm in my second week now, though I haven't started cycling yet.

Another plus: I was sexting, and when you're turned on, it feels so good to have the blood rushing down there. Not enough for a full stiffy, but it felt normal, like it used to.

I'm healing, which is great, but still super sore. God bless the person who recommended putting baby socks over your shaft—I can now move around and walk normally. I definitely recommend icing, baby socks, and laxatives.

I have an appointment next week for cycling instructions. I'm nervous because I can only feel the bulb; I'm unable to grip the whole unit even with both hands—it feels like it's too high.

The stitches on my scrotum still seep a tiny bit, so I'm afraid to go all out handling my balls.

I'm also a bit worried, as many mention that the cycling pain at the start is usually the worst.

browny, as any swelling subsides you will be able to manage the pump. It's like learning to ride a bicycle, once you master it, it becomes second nature.
My stitches seeped for quite a while, which freaked me out. I kept sending photos to my surgeon, who said it was nothing to worry about.
You will have full control over what level of discomfort you can tolerate once you start cycling. Just take it slowly at first.
The more you do it, and with continued healing, the more comfortable it gets in my experience.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC & nerve sparing RRP Mar 22, profound ED since. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.

Thanks for your reply,
Swelling has gone down quite abit other then the area where I was stitched up.

I'm due to go next week to get cycling instructions, my stitches haven't healed yet, do you think they may delay cycling incase it may split?

I'm having a fumble and can locate the pump and edges but can't locate the deflate button at all.

Does the deflate button only pop out when I'm inflated or is it prominent throughout?

Pain pills cause the constipation, my doc always told me one pain pill, one stool softener. They should have been giving you laxatives in the hospital. And they kept you two nights in? Dang, my implant was out-patient. I was back home just a few hours after surgery.

Same here. Surgery at 7 am. My wife got there around 9:30 and I was leaving by 10 in a semi comatose state. The hard part was getting back to the doc office on Mon. to remove the mummy wrap and drain. My surgery was on a Friday. Pretty worthless for two weeks after the surgery. Much better now tomorrow is 4 weeks and getting used to the brick in my balls but still pretty tender on the side where the reservoir is installed

browny, it's hard to say if your cycling would be delayed. Your stitches might be more healed by then, but only your doc can advise on that.
Try gently rotating the pump a little and see if you can feel the deflate button protruding against the skin of your scrotum.
I can easily feel all parts of my pump, but I'm also many months ahead of you in terms of recovery, with zero swelling.
Which model pump do you have? I have the older MS pump with my LGX and it's easy to find the button, which is quite prominent, but I don't know about the newer Tenacio pump. My pump button stays popped out all the time unless I press it briefly to deflate (a few seconds), then it immediately returns to the original position.

p.s. Your pic hasn't come through. You might have to attach it again.

I checked and it does say I have the MS pump as well. Hopefully I'll manage to locate it once the swelling goes down.

I'm on Trt so I've got a small sack and struggle to rotate it without it hitting a testicle.
